Gee i am posting too much. Keep note. In the old rain i did not have a problem with this, now i do.

Wall of fog. Part of description states. -75% damage penalty.

I take 4.2k per hit damage on finger offensive.

I put up my wall of fog. New damage is now supposed to be around 1k a hit mark.

Instead it is at around the 3k mark.

What i believe has happened is that instead of -75% damage penalty being applied, a mistake somewhere has been made, resulting in doing 75% of your original damage, thus only leaving 25% difference in damage made, when it should be 75% less.

I've noticed this too >___> it's really starting to annoy me when a champ FO's me *goes to get the script from RMS*

Yeah i used to give ryan a hard time on his champ, and now champs are pwning me hardcore. Wtf?

Error must have been made while rain changed to reign.

Wall of Fog's official behavior isn't confirmed.

Despite what its skill description says: Currently Wall of Fog reduces ranged NORMAL (ie, weapon) attacks by 75% and other physical attacks by 25%.

If anyone can provide 100% solid proof that this isn't normal behavior from an official server, I will pass this to developers to patch.

This is one of those skills that always have conflicting reports of official behavior.

i wasnt sure but i believe u just said the exact answer without knowing ..

Despite what its skill description says: Currently Wall of Fog reduces ranged NORMAL (ie, weapon) attacks by 75% and other physical attacks by 25%.

Reduces normal swings ranged atacks by 75% , and skills almost any ds. fo . grimtooth count as pshysical atks therefore they get reduced 25%.

Not sure but something about it sounded logical ...

It worked in rain, and on my scholar in iRO. And now it doesn't. Means only one thing, yeah? All long range physical damage should be 75% less, grimtooth, snipers attacks, FO, spear boomerang, all of em'

I dont know where any of you guys are getting 25% from. It has nothing to do with the skill, only what is happening now with it.

Scholars were actually a magic class that could give someone a run for their money back in the days of rain.

Again, we need an official source.

Stating how it used to work and how it works now or how it is coded now does not suffice. Anyone can say 'This is how it works on an official server'. No developer will take that as a reliable source. Neither would I.

Someone take a video capture of official behavior testing with normal ranged attacks and skill ranged attacks against a target with and without Wall of Fog, and I will pass that to developers.
