Having @main on by default is annoying. People shouldn't use it to have server-wide 2 people conversations, and they shouldn't repeatedly broadcast that they want to buy something or that they need a leveling party in Thors. (Which is what has been happening, and I, for one don't like my chat box filled with things I didn't say. )After the trail week, everyone will know about it. I vote that it's taken off after that and the people who want to use it can use it. For everyone else, it's just a nuisance.

i agree i dont like @main being default all that much. i mean i can just turn it off yes. but i do see a lot of spamming and what not.

I use @main pretty much on a daily basis (when I'm online, lul), and I understand how it may get annoying to people having to turn it off when you log in. Maybe if we got a poll going, or maybe implement it for a day or two for testing... Or telling people in the Message of the Day about @main...

(Edit.) Also, Andi, the chat is filled with things you don't say anyways. >:o

The test currently running is to determine which is preferable. @main on or @main off by default. Unless more of the people said to agree or disagree come to voice their opinions directly, we won't get an accurate report of dis/satisfaction.

Don't point fingers and call each-other names regarding this feature. Instead, offer productive comments regarding your observations and opinions.

i think @main should be OFF when you log in and if you want it on then please by all means do @main on. but there are a lot of players that dont know about @main and im sure their like WTF every time they log in.

i think i agree with tofts cause if you "@main off" then you accidently reconnect you're character and the @main message will be on again i think i must be "turn off default", then if you want to see who's on the @main chat you just turn it on"

I've also been on a couple servers where you can talk to an NPC that will cause certain commands to automatically be on when you log on. That could be a possible alternative for the people who want @main on all the time.
