Ok, so I read this news of the OFFICIAL RO server and HAD to post it here! =D As far as I know, nothing like this has ever happened to Reign Online, so I felt like sharing it.

I honestly feel bad for the players. It isn't their fault fRO's/euRO's server isn't up to snuff. Poor guys.

I play there, but they mess up like that every time! =D Average downtime for maintenances: 6-8 hours. No kidding. And it's not like bugs get fixed in that maintenance, no. Instead they think of new events to cause the Zeny to lose their value more and more. Recent example: 2 Weeks of lotto event. You collect 6 numbers that randomly drop from monsters at like 3% Chance (can't be traded, but can be stored). Numbers range from 1-45. This event has been in effect every day. So basically you can hand in 9x 6 numbers (6 per char, 9 chars per account) or even more. Seems easy right? Right. But now look at the prices for that event:
0 right numbers: A gogolotto ticket, which is worth about 1m Zeny
1 right number: A gogolotto ticket and 50 lotto medals (can be traded in for EXP...about 15% at level 92 rebirth)
2 right numbers: A gogolotto ticket, 50 medals, 3 Bloody Branches, 5 Dead Branches
3 right numbers: Price for 2 right numbers and a Magic Card Album and 3 OCAs
4 right numbers: Price for 3 and all kinds of random boxes (worth about 200-300m Zeny)
5 right numbers: Price for 4 and an infinity account (forever free premium, worth 200€ aka 288$
6 right numbers: Price for 5 and a "Poring Card Set". This includes Ghostring Card (1,5b Zeny), Angeling Card (200m Zeny), Deviling Card (1,8b Zeny) and Arcangeling Card (60m Zeny).
And now the funny stuff: They didn't transfer MvP Cards and too high upgraded stuff from the former euRO because it would "crash the market". Lol? |

That's terrible, but not as bad as MapleStory.
Rollback was like 5 days. Someone got from level 120-150 around, that normally takes months if you're playing under 3 hours a day. MapleStory rolled back, made him back to level 120, then said "Okay everyone we're giving everyone double EXP for 2 hours! Yay!". Pretty BS. A lot of people lost rare items they just got too, scrolled items that have 30% chance of working. (Scrolled items are like cards except they have a certain % of working, some have a certain % of exploding your item) I don't even know which is worse.
Ohz and their downtime for like 4 of their updates/maintenance was 12 hours. ._. They said it would be 4 hours. (Four hours later) A problem occurred. Please have patience while we extend the downtime by three hours. (Three hours later).
You get the point.

rollbacks suck so much. i hated those on Ragnarok Revolution. I lost so much stuff.

| Oh, don't get me wrong there! Those 6-10 hours maintenances are every single week, starting thursday at 9am. And they don't even give an ETA. |

Yikes!  Sounds like they really need to get their... everything in order. I definitely sympathize with the players. I wouldn't tolerate that nonsense at all. I forget if you have to pay to play euRO but that is outrageous whether or not a monthly fee is associated (even more so if it isn't free to play).
