How about adding an @save command to allow us to save our respawn position wherever we like (but limited to towns)? I thought it would be a nice sentiment to include on Reign. :O
Thoughts?
(Also, I heard that GMs have usage of such a command, so I don't think it should be TOO hard to code, if at all.)

| Lol, so just to make sure I understood you right. You want a feature to be able to save everywhere, but only in towns? It's called Kafra! XD And yes, there is the command @save, but I doubt Luzz is bored enough to write a mapflag that limits it to towns only, since there's savepoints in all towns anyways. |

Kafras don't let you save everywhere. I'm talking about position-wise. As in, when you type @save (or whatever), your respawn point will be wherever it is you are currently standing.

This idea can be exploited in too many ways, in my opinion. Plus, iRO has always featured saving and respawning via Kafras in the center of towns. It's just how the game is.

The reason I suggested it is because there are a lot of cool places to "hang out" or simply go afk where people will know you're there (among other things), but they either take a long time to get to or are in "inconvenient" positions. Thus, an @save command could minimize the time to get to this place and perhaps lesson the inconvenience.
Though I can see where you're going with this, Skye. For example, you could place your save at the VERY top of Prontera so that you can reach the castle area faster during WoE. Still, while there may be "many" ways to exploit this, I can't think of any others besides what I said (which btw, Warp Portal is more of an "exploit" than this), especially if my suggestion to limit it to towns was taken. (So please feel free to suggest other ways to exploit this and possible ways to REMOVE the exploit, if you can.)
Just think this would be a neat feature, that's all, if it's possible/little trouble.

Really, the only solution is to approve these @save points on a case-by-case basis and any other location saving must be done via the Kafras. There are numerous locations near quest spots, special mobs, WoE zones, MVP Dungeons, and NPCs that would be unfair to save near.
The final judgment falls to Luzz, though.

You saved using the Kafra at the north part of Prontera and not the one in the center.

You saved using the Kafra at the north part of Prontera and not the one in the center. |
I used the center one and it still does that. ._. (To be honest I never knew there was more than one in Prontera, I always thought that was the only one.)
