So, I'm playin' OoT:MQ, right? The game is noticeably more challenging.
But, this particular segment is about the shadow temple.
Nintendo is a bunch of m***er f***ers.

I spent more than an hour running around in that festering heap of rotting stalfos marrow before I got the key I needed to move forward.
After going through 3 rooms with chests(All of which had rupees in them) and running back and forth through the same 3 rooms, I finally found out what I needed to do BY ACCIDENT.

There's this room, yeah? There are two spiked panels attached to chains that rise and fall from the ceiling, and 3 cages inside, too high to climb to the top of. There's also a hidden rock that I have to pull out and push underneath them, to keep from being turned into a pulpy pancake(also too high to climb). So, I place it between them so neither of them can fall on me. Genius work. I go in, kill the gold Skulltula, open the chest: Bingo. Small ke-- Wait, what? 5 rupees? Really? If you say so.

3 excruciating hours and one Biggoron's Sword quest later-

I finally take the stupid rock, and push it ALL THE WAY TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROOM, FOR 5 MINUTES. Apparently, that side of the room is a bit taller than the rest. I get to climb up there, and open up the chest. Finally!
Wait, no. More money. Pain in my ass...

10 minutes later, I come back to the room. I've started looking EVERYWHERE with the damn Lens of Truth, so I can see invisible sh**. Yeah, I go back into the room, spend another 5 minutes pushing the stupid rock into place. Jump up on the cages, sure enough, invisible friggin' chest.

Moral of this story:
Time can be better spent making the Biggoron's sword, rather than saving the world.

This was very entertaining to read. xD
It's too bad it took that long. < _ <; I'm surprised you didn't give up though.
I call it quits about the 3rd of the way at least.

I REALLY should have done it sooner. If there is anything this teaches me, it would have to be "Look everywhere." There was a key in a room with chests; The key wasn't in the chest, though. It was behind it. Dirty tricks.

You clearly think I'm an idiot(>:0). They appear there, but usually fall from the ceiling. And they don't show on the map if they have to appear there.

Rereading what I originally posted, uhh... I forgot to mention you had to press the button above the second cage to make the chest on the third cage appear. And then it appears invisible.

I have still yet to complete Master Quest. I too was inside of the Shadow Temple, however I had not yet gone to the Spirit Temple. I arrived in the Shadow Temple as adult Link and proceeded to make my way through the endless mazes that that Temple has to offer... And then I, in a room that I repeatedly met my death in, was met with a sign that stated I needed the Hover Boots in order to move on.

I saved my game, and I put it away out of frustration. I have yet to pick it up again.

I will not deny that Master Quest is a new adventure that requires more elaborate strategy and thought, but I will say that it (like all other games) has it's flaws.

Let it be known that I was extremely disappointed with the Fire Temple.

Yeah, and the Water Temple actually got easier.
I was just in the stupid-ass Desert Colossus, and I couldn't do anything. I opened up, like, 5 chests, and got hearts and money. I came back as an adult, busted a stone behind one of the snakes, and, well... There was one of those eyes you put an arrow in.

Hurr durr, i got mi a kee nao i ken fiinsh teh rset uvv tha tempull.

I don't have Master Quest, I actually have played OoT with the promotional disk though, and I must say, I got stuck in the water temple. I haven't played it since >.>

And now, I am NOT looking forward to playing it again >.>

Omg, I'm not even kidding. I WAS USING A GUIDE FOR IT.

While reading the guide, I realize I "hit a wrong button" to raize it to the wrong water level, and I have to like, start at the BEGINING or something.

I always wanted to play it.

I don't want to play it anymore now >_>;;

Finished MasterQuest.
Ganondorf's castle was pretty annoying, and there were some instances where you were literally looking for a speck that you had to shoot. But, for the most part, you knew what you had to do.

Disappointing, really. <__<
