I'm a lover of the super novice class, But here on reignRO they can't compete with ANYONE... At level 255, with 255 vit. I only have 12,000 HP. (any class can one shot that... xSmile So, I was thinking of a Realllyyyy long quest, or 5$ each ---> head gear, shoes, armor, shield, and accessory combo. (With the quest you HAVE to be Super novice class, and you can only do it ONCE.) But I would suggest the items be something like this...

Super Novice helm [2] ---> +8 all stats
Super Novice Shoes [1] +10% HP / SP +1 all stats
Super Novice Armor [1] +10% Resistance to all elements -10% Resistance to Neutral Element (or the other way around.)
Super novice Shield [1] +10% Resistance to Demi-Human damage -50% resistance to all other races.
Super Novice Accessory (A) [1] 5% atk +3 str
Super Novice Accessory (B) [1] 5% Matk +3 int

When the Super Novice Helm, Super novice shoes, Super Novice Armor, Super novice Shield and Super Novice Accessory are equiped, gain +1 to all stats, HP + 40 x Base Level, SP + 10 x Job Level, Matk/Atk +5%.

I know you all are probably going to say "Omgtomuchtomuchtomuch!!" but honestly, having 20k HP at 255, is still kind of bad... The items can also be changed a little, (I suggest this being a quest due to the fact that hardly anyone plays super novice due to there HP) But yeah! Anyways, thats just a quick suggestion i thought of....

I'm up for making Super Novice's life easier, unless some has a reason against it.

I'm all for it ^_^

I love super novicces but have a bad time leveling them even with angra cuz Orc Hero can Sonic Blow you dead even if you're armored to the teeth with donates.

increasing the HP bonus of the Items is the main concern for me, like give them at tops 100K bonus, they might even be able to WoE at that, and they wont be too overpowered cuz they dont have 2-1/ 2-2 / and trans skills, so they could be used normally in most situations, 100k is nothing by the way, Orc Hero can still Sonic Blow you dead with that if accompanied by other bosses in MVP rooms.

I use Orc Hero cuz he's the next to easiest to kill in the MVP rooms, Phree is the easiest to kill...

Super Novices are Bad Asses when it comes to PvM, and it would be very interesting to see them WoE too... mainly, HP is their glowingly straight-forward weakness, I hope Luzz comes up with items that pumps it to what I've said, like 100k +? just to make it par with the other classes... BuMp!!

I am all for this idea. I would also like to mention to Luzz that Super Novices on official servers have 19 more job levels that a max trans characters (job 70 to super novys job 99) and that they should have an elevated job level to at least 140 on here. Luzz has agreed to this idea before.

+10 Stats (Any Donate Helm)

+30%/+15%/+10% Demihuman Resistances (Thara Frog/Golden Poopoo Hat/Combat Knife)
+40 Str (Meg) and +10% Phys (Bryn)/10% Matk (Bryn)
+5100 HP (Bryn)
+1275 SP (Bryn)

Now don't get me wrong, I actually DO fully support this idea. I just...don't agree on the buffs Rom proposed, I think a LOT more should be done. And uh, IDK, maybe an equip that allows Body Relocate? Smile I know I'm dreaming lawl, but still sounds like a great idea. But at the VERY least, something more realistic than already proposed please =D

Surprised I like roms idea, but I agree with adam... I like to see a bit more powerfull set instead of something as low.... I think he was saying it that low to not be to over powered or something? Surprised

An interesting suggestion that was offered...this would ONLY apply to Super Novices, but what if the Elemental Sword could be modified so that, when a Super Novice holds an Elemental Sword, it will Autocast each bolt at level 10 if it has mastered each bolt, instead of the default level 3?

That, I think, would CERTAINLY be fair. Gives a decent buff in damage, but doesn't make them hard to kill in the SLIGHTEST. If necessary, I could re-script the Elemental Sword it if it's a hassle to do so, and all that would be needed is for the scripts to be reloaded.

I know I'm dreaming, but it sounds like a good idea in my opinion...

Another idea, how about changing items that have the "Every Job Except Novice" description be changed to just "Every Job", and/or allow them access to all weapons they can already use (So all maces, rods, daggers, one-handed swords, and one-handed axes)?

They can already use those weapons, but they require a link to do so, so by removing the need for the link, it would be a slight buff.

Same goes with the job thing; not game-breaking enough to allow Valk Armor/Sprint Set/Etc, but still good enough to allow better armors and such.
