Reading the topic about what we dont like about Reign, I read the last few posts about a new idea for BoC Wings. I'm definetly all for it, I personally love BoC and wish it was as popular as it used to be. I have a few ideas on how we can make BoC more popular by giving the wings certain buffs.
An idea I had would be the winner of the BoC Match can get to choose from 3 wings:
1)Regular BoC Wings that we have now.
2)PvP Boc Wings [0]
All Stats +30
HP -20%
Def & Mdef - 30
Increase damage to Demi-Human race by 35% (physical and magical)
Lose 3% of your Total HP every second
3)New BoC [2]
All stats +10
Increase Resistance to all Elements by 10%
Increase Physical and Magical Damage by 5%
This is just my idea about having new BoC Wings and increasing the popularity of it as to give the BoC winner a real prize besides just having huge wings.
Please give your opinions along with your ideas about what you think should be done to help bring back the passion and fun for BoC.

New Boc Wings [0]
All Stats +25
HP -25%

These new BoC wings will only last for 7-14 Days

The damage on it seems a bit... Absurd. The 8% HP, is it 8% of your CURRENT HP or is it 8% of your total HP? The effects overall seem very risky to use, like a kill or be killed item with all those -HP and defense. Doesn't seem too reliable in my opinion right now.

Thats exactly the point of the item, its kind of like a double edged sword, you gain as you said absurd power, but at the same time you're defenses are severely cut. It is 8% of your Total HP. There aren't too many items on RO that are like that, and I think it would be very interesting to see how people would manage themselves if they were to use an item like this.

i like the imrovement except for the 8% loss in HP EVERY SECOND... you're already putting yourself in danger in -25% HP reduction and
-50 to Def and Mdef... it means having it on already has a potential for you to get killed... I wont wear it even if its free to give to everyone... seeing most of us use reflect... its going to be an overkill...
also these stats only work in PvP / WoE, take it to ifrit and you wont last 30 seconds on him not to mention satan morroc ^_^
IMO, I'd want it to be more of a all around wing that can be used to players and bring on adventures as well...
cuz if I have cool wings like those, I'd bring it everywhere ^_^

Well... If it's 8% of your total HP... 10 seconds would eat up 80% of your HP. You'd be dead in no time.

Although that is true, there are ways around it, there are different gears + card combos that will allow you around it, you just need to be able to manage around them, also you don't necessarily have to wear them 100% of the time, gear switching will be even more important with this pair of wings.

the 7-14 days rule ruins the point, who wants to fight for a title they only get to keep for a week or two.
The wing ideas are neat, you could even have differnt colors for them.
(if you didnt meant he 7-14 day rule as I decsribed then sorry for misunderstanding)

1) Still think it should be buffed up a bit. Like make it 20 Stats instead.
2) I think that the HP loss should go away, and the M/Def should be reduced by 50 instead. Also, bump that to 40% cuz 35 is ugly. Also, some classes' skills wouldn't be affected, such as AD.
Edit: Oh yeah...
3) Looks good to me. Might need a slight debuff, MIGHT.
