I'd have to ask for help again, but I re-downloaded and installed it twice, tried the small patch, and all i keep getting is cannot find sprite.[something gibberish].act and some other .spr files...

I use a mac, though, but i do have an app that runs most of the windows files well. (Crossover)

This only seems to happen in Prontera, the rest of the game I can still access.

i'm guessing you don't have the patience/ability to try it through a bootcamped copy of windows. I have read crossover and other virtualization programs and RO tend to have conflicts.

I would try reinstalling from the full installer first and ensure you're patching it properly. It's been years since i've been on an actual mac (and i haven't touched OS X), so my experience is of little help other than the basic troubleshooting.

Do you get a gravity error later?

if you can get a copy of the error code, (begins with 0x0* then some more numbers, i can tell you what is causing you issues
