Its cool seeing the top 100 of each class and so on, but it would be nice to see a list of those with top points in their class for those that have a ranking system like alchemists and taekwons.

Of course you can always see the top 10 in game, but it would be a nice addition to not only see it on the site but beyond the top 10 as well.

I think that's a separate issue, but yea. It should be based on actual experience gained, or at the very least that should be a factor. If you max box from level 1 then you should have 0 exp, where as if you leveled from 1-255 you would have a couple billion exp. Or something like that.

ITT: what boc is actually for.

Ranking system right now is largely based on the amount of zeny that is on each player. It is impossible to rank players out of experience gained, as there is no difference in the script for box'ed exp or monster kill exps. Even if you do have a new script tracking monster kill exps, there will be no differentiation to who the top leveler might be, since there will be numerous non-box 255s. Eventually, the list will just be an alphabetical order list to who did not box to get to 255.

i suggest a ladder system like diablo II; but it's too hard to do, when players can just BB the levels.

for that matter, neither does player rank by level or money or w/e. This is about classes that earn points like alchemists/creators and taekwon

a point system to measure classes that has no other purpose other than fighting monsters and killing each other? Exp is out of question. PVP kill count cannot be tracked and can be faked. i know,

let's make a list of which archer crafts the most arrows, or priests who makes the most holy water. oh i know, who wastes most time repeating the most monotonic elements of the game.

I thought she meant showing the top 100 or whatever ranking of the classes that DO have point systems.

Taekwon, Alchemist, Blacksmith.

Maybe her point changed to add this after you guys talked about it, but the original post was about that.

zombie is correct.
This is only about showing ranks for alchemist, taekwon and black smith ONLY.
not about a new way to rank the top players of each class or BOC.
