You all need some age in your bones, have a college length conundrum I will shit out of nowhere, as well as some bricks, all thanks to insomnia at 4:41 AM 
Now in the 1920's Irving Berlin wrote the musical notations for "Puttin on the Ritz", he is also the same man who made and wrote a hefty sum of music for "White Christmas" starign Bing Crosby. The song has very beautiful instrumentals.

This is however a higher quality version.
This Song was originally made to be sung by Harry Richman I think though, dont quote me on it. This was around the good old times in 1925-29 before that big old bad depression. It largely correlated with how people were acting in the beginning of the depression and before it even started. This was made in the 1930's before a man named Fred Astaire decided to redo the little number. Harry Richmans version however, as most songs go steals alot of thunder form the instrumental pieces, which is a very large shame.

Fred Astaire redid the song just a little bit later, but in his skit he included tap dancing, although his vocals seem a bit rushed compared to Harry Richmonds version around the 1:41 mark. Now I love me some tap dancing, but that does not excuse butchering one part of a bad piece of a song.

All hate aside, this does make for a kind of ok 80's song, not the best but not the worst.
My question to Reign:
Who the hell is "Puttin on your Ritz" and why?
Irving Berlin for me, and because its instrumental as well as it being on Keebler Townhouse crackers.

Opera is more my thing
Carmen <3 my fave opera ever and they are showing it at the theatres near my house.
Habanera from Carmen is an amazing song.

We used to have a wonderful Carmen singer on this server, she was on our TeamSpeak server for a bit in KoF's first few months Princess _______ was her name.
I cant remember the last part of the name, but its a shame she went away. She was here about 10 months ago. I know if I saw the name again it would pop into my head. The last part was a longer name, more than 7 letters.
Sadly though she was driven away by people who think screaming incoherency at the top of your lungs into a mic while scratching guitar strings equals good music.
