Can something be done about the @sleep in No Mercy PvP room? This is one of the Many times that I have tried killing people, and they just @sleep and "cry" PvP is for Killing NOT sleeping. Please remove @sleep in PvP No Mercy, or at least put a 5 minute timmer on it...

I agree with both suggestions. Remove it or add a delay to it, such as the Log-Out delay. While you're being attacked you can't log-out. Same should apply to @sleep. Or completely remove it from No Mercy. It's No Mercy for a reason.

Good point and rightly so in most cases. Sometimes KoS gets so bad the player cant so much as sneeze in No Mercy without ten people diving on them. @sleep itself isn't a bad function, its just the people who use exploits with it to MAKE it a bad function (Creators and their homunculi, the people who @sleep just to talk shit, just an example, not intended to start a flame)

I think someone said earlier (perhaps a different thread) that some people use @sleep so they can watch the fights without getting taken out by an AoE, or a bigger problem, Res Killing. Its so obnoxious, and...well childish :/

Anywho, not to go into a big rant about whats right or wrong, I think @sleep is perfectly fine, its all a matter of application. Attach rules to it if it is a large problem. Attach the same rules as AFK/Homunculi farming to @sleep attacking, perhaps harsher punishment for trash talking with @sleep.

ed am one of the people who said i go into pvp to wacth xD

and yes i do i hardly ever PVP myself unless a friend of mine is being teamed or somsone wants to test a build and ask me to go. for me @sleep is a nice thing to have even in pvp because well what if someone just wants to wacth? why hurt them in this case. yes people could @slleep and bad talk maybe luz can fix something to stop that or have it all go to mails/pms and use /exall to stop it

it is no mercy for a reason i will agree to that but in defence to @sleep in pvp its the only way alot of people can take tips from wacthing/talk to someone fighting and not get kicked out atfer being killed twice or just wantt o wacth for the sake of wacthing.

i voted the 5 minutes option, though a 10 sec delay betwen sleeps would be more than enough to one hit one person..

I am totally for changing the current @sleep in some way. Changes that I propose (some are repeated):

-"Log-out Rule", as Neo put it, which is 10s cooldown before @sleeping after taking damage
-Timer/Cooldown, to prevent "@sleep spam". (I used to put on Pharaohs and @sleep AD @sleep people, it was fun <<)
-Time Limit. As in, "you can only @sleep for X amount of Ys", where X is a number and Y is a unit of time. (60s/1min sounds fair to me)
-Restriction based on HP/SP. Basically, you cannot @sleep if your health is below (or above?) a certain threshold of HP and/or SP. (70% sounds fair?)
-Cost. As in, it costs zeny that you have on you in order to @sleep. Or maybe not even zeny, maybe an item. (But not an easy-to-obtain item like....a yellow gemstone. <_< Otherwise that defeats the purpose). (No idea on price or item).
-Dispellable and/or pushable, like Trick Dead.
-Inability to or a Cooldown for @die, logging, skills, items, etc. after waking up from an @sleep, and inability to log out while @sleeping.

I think if one, some, or POSSIBLY all of these were implemented, @sleep would become less abusable. However, I'd like to point out that, should any of these things be implemented, it should only be part of the No Mercy PvP room (maybe the GvG map too?). I mean, if the cost was like 1mil to @sleep EVERYWHERE, that would be unfair if you wanted to @sleep in a town, let's say. Or in the social room.
