Skills are there for a reason, each character has a purpose in the game. WoE was designed to work as a team. It isn't in the description of what woe is to 'spam healing items like mad on yourself so you don't need a team', it describes a guild aka a team taking and holding a castle. _________________

@Grandpa- Just leave. You're nothing more than a useless worthless troll. If you do not have anything better please go open your own thread to whine about stuff. You can even whine about people. Isn't that great. Now leave |

I'm not grumpy, I'm smart and see through your bullshit. If you had changed, you wouldn't STILL be trolling now would you. _________________

This idea just seems ridiculous to me. |
Itd still be a interesting trial thats not permanent though dontcha think? |
i applaud your efforts here...
Never said it wouldnt make a good trial..in fact not once did i say anything about a trial. i just said it seems like a ridiculous idea. removing healing items, sure....but removing certain skills from woe meant to support. one would think...if you cant heal yourself in woe, you would WANT a priest or alchy around who can...
seems kinda loopy to me... |
Tell that to Reneshin and Yoh they claim to do just fine without anything. |
i have done fine the few times i WoE'd solo for TS and Team Awesome. i captured a castle solo each time with no items needed then but still I wouldnt want to strip support classes of their healing abilities when they were obviously given those skills for a reason. _________________ RIP Xander -April 9th, 2010- Love you and miss you daily.

Hey guys whats goin' on in this thr-
*reads all the post*
Healing items. Trial? Sure. Boom, got it.
@Grandpa: Think of it this way, if healing items are removed, and there is a balance issue, I'm sure another suggestion thread will be made in order to fix said problem. Let's give the trial a try (Such a novel concept) and when judgment day comes whether or not the delay stays or goes, you should have more coherent data other than face planting your keyboard.
@Rest of Thread: I think this goes without saying, the trial would give good data for all parties, and if results are inconclusive, secondary trials will be given a go I'm sure.
@cake: Sure, some people may lose castles/items/time, but it's all just a game in the end, all of these things can be regained. Perhaps the time freed up from not having to farm giggles/honey could be turned in kind to time spent farming up MVPs/better equipment. _________________ "The World will know that free men stood against a tyrant. It's okay, I know who he is. He just doesn't know who I am. We can totally change this in to a let's flame Steve, and there will be more people posting. Sad enough. Since Steve came up with the idea of removing certain skill. Why not remove Asura, Bowling Bash, Etc Oh that right, he only like to aim at certain skill, but not all. |

Do you understand that I want to test more than just one idea?
I want to come up with other ideas that mean not be a compromise, but a different input. Luzz is already willing to test and trial some ideas. Why not use this time to come up with other ideas? |

Now isn't that interesting. Do you have any type of useful input, or you're just here to provoke random people on the internet? |

I gave my input and I feel like sticking around to see where it goes, as well as Eds input, so who knows how long this can go on _________________

I've thrown my 2 cents on here more than once, I don't believe there would be any sort of imbalance what so ever. It would be something that would take time to adapt to but would be better in the long run to have healing items removed. I for one am still used to woe's with NO healing items but a lot of people here aren't, it's a change that's difficult at first to get used to but again it is better for woe in the long run. People will be forced to work together a lot more strategically then they do now.
As for the trial of 3 second delay, I'm down for that. It may be enough delay who knows, I still believe the job of healing guildies/allies etc should be left to the respective support classes that were given those skills for this very reason. We'll see how the trial goes though _________________
