I didn't fully read Marine's post, but I skimmed through and saw 'Bubblegum', I believe I saw it in another post aswell.
People, Bubblegum does not affect Card droprates, just Item droprate. Enough already... @_@

and @Stiffler - We proposed removing the current Mvp room, which lacks any real effort for hunting(Make things more interesting) and suggested a new Mvp room. Which costed zeny per summon, had a cooldown period, and could have branched-off quests. I don't recall that new script for an mvp room to be acknowledged as being 'Silver Spoon fed' considering it requires you to farm zeny to use it.
@Paragon - Greed has nothing to do with it, New Years day when I went to Sunken Ship, before I even broke a BB, I ran across a Beezelbub. Not even in 2nd form, the issue is more about removing a/the Mvp/s that people don't even bother killing, such as Beezel. And yes, you can say this is official all you want, remember one thing though - This is a private server that is trying to mirror the real thing.
Take this post however you want, it was not intended to cause an arguement. Just figure I'll put that out there.

alot of you ARE aduits and teenagers take me for 1 am not either am little and soa re afew other people on sever i have money i would like to spend but i cant not even for a chirmas present brithday or anything. No thanks. Deal with Eddga and the others as youre meant to.
Not to mention, prices lowered or lesser mvps removed or not, you guys will still continue to buy them regardless just as you always have. So from a business perspective, why give you the chance to spend less money and on top of that get more satisfaction just because one person cries wolf? Its a lose-lose situation for anyone who owns a server.
You already get a double drop day.

You take a chance by buying BB's in the first place, you take the risk and hope youll get the more popular MVPs, you take the chance of not getting a card, seeing as how cards drop at CHANCE in the first place.
Like I said, you already get fairly frequent double drop days and bubblegum, we have an MVP room which you dont take any appreciation for. Imagine how your gameplay would be affected if there wasnt, say, as many Phreeoni cards circulated since there was no MVP room?

We spend hundreds of dollars, but what about the suggestion also included in my post of putting it in the vote npc? Take away the money factor and let it be equal chance for everyone while at the same time increasing the amount of players/hits in the server.
Reign RO is not a business, so it should not be treated as one. You donate because you want the server to grow and stay up. However prices are outrageous for cards, simply put the more cards that get put out there the quicker the prices drop. True example of this would be when SOS left, card prices went from being up high, to now 100 tops excluding the lab mvps. Reasoning for that is because we flooded the server with cards.
People spend money to enjoy themselves, help the server, and what not. However the price for BB's is in fact high, especially when you consider 17 MVPs spawn in the MVP room, Beelzebub whose card is a quest item and people dont even bother killing it, and Ifrit who like Beezlebub people cant kill. We could leave in the old bb script that took away FBH, Ifrit, Beelzebub, etc. But leaving in free MVPs and leaving the price as 10 USD is absurd. This is why I suggested the lowering price part as well.

If I am paying for the BB's why should I be grateful to even have them? If I was getting them for free then yea I would be grateful. But once money comes out of my pocket and goes into another persons pocket, I have no need to be grateful for anything. You mention "Greed", how is it greed when you are trying to help all players achieve the same thing? Greed would be if I wanted it only for myself, which I could care less about since I have my cards. I spent the money and hunted so in fact its not helping me one bit. That's the opposite of greed, that's called being generous to other people.
This server isn't an official server, so why try to act like it is? We have custom headgears, we are a 255 server, mid rate, a warper, healer, mvp room, should I go on? Playing in an official server for a few months you don't have any of that. Unless things change in 9 years and they have all that now. I've played close to 30 servers, owned 2, and I can say without a doubt Reign RO is not an official server.

People think because I have an H in my sig that I am doing it only to benefit myself. When if fact I do more damage to myself because I already bought/hunted my cards. So where is the benefit for me? It instead benefits those who can not afford to donate have an actual chance of getting rares and stop complaining about other people who have rares.
It is sad people assume anything, and don't think for a second how this would help people in general.
Also for that underage kid part, I had a paypal account at the age of 14 or 15, a bank account at 8, hell even eBay when I was 13. I wouldn't put it past another kid to have done the same thing.
Fact of the matter is this. This suggestion is for the players, I hear them complain about multiple things. I suggest something that will help them and it gets thrown back at me as if I am being "greedy". If you don't want the suggestion vote "no" because you don't want it, not because of my sig. However to those who voted no give reason, as well as don't complain about someone who beats you in WOE or PVP because of cards...

The reason we try to act like an official server is because Here it is free to play. iRO is not. That is why. To give the fully free experience of the wonder that is ragnarok. People it is a game, Games have shit we do not like in them. This is one of them and if Luzz wants to try and be official... who are you to question why?
On another subject Beezle, Gopinich, Ifrit, and maybe another...? were just recently added to bloody branches. Removing Beezle is good for those who BB card wise. However Many use BB's on other servers for mvp scores, for fun, not for cards. I mean.... Is this really that big of a deal..? I do like that Nightshade at least is compromising in the fact of just Beezlebub if anything. I'll think about my opinion.

I BB for fun, for items, and for the cards.
I found it rather interesting that Beezlebub is now in them because I'm trying to make a +10 BoTD
It is just a game.
After reading some of the arguments I change my opinion to just leave it the way it is -.- This is starting to get absurd. |

Again with the word official... A server is either official or not. If Reign was linked to iRO then yea its official. Till then why are we trying to imitate something we are not and are clearly not doing in the first place. That is why we have a suggestion page. 
My suggestion had multiple parts, and not enough ways to put a poll that clearly had every single thing. Because some people may want one thing combined with another thing. I was going to leave it poll free, which I should have done and let players cast their vote in a body of text instead of a button. But then it will get tossed to the side like previous suggestions.

i talk about my own friends and known people who are under age and take about 20 of 30 bucks their family give for lunch or w/e and go into wallmart to buy a prepaid card or "game card).
no one trying to hide anything so keep ur shit togheter sherlock and try to re-read my whole post again any underage kid can donate and use paypal. |
