So I was in PvP today, stripping people on my stalker, when all of a sudden Angel comes in with his NICE SHINY BLACK HAT that I OH-SO wanted to strip But I couldn't do that without dying quickly by Mag (I'm flee), so as the clever-little beaver I am, I put on my Fire Resist gears to avoid mag and stay safely away from his mag in chase walk.

The gears I used were:
Pisces Crown: 30%
Jakk: 30%
Valk Shield: 20%
Fire Pot: 20%

30+30=60+20=80+20=100%, so as you can see, I should be totally immune to Fire (and therefore Magnum Break), right?

Sure enough, Angel attempts to Mag me and misses, as I am flee--but what? He mags again and I get hit. WTF?!...THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN.

I think to myself "ok...maybe I counted wrong". So I grab my ring of flame lord (10%) from storage and put it on and ask Angel to Mag me again...

36 damage! And I get revealed! What the hell?! At this point I'm a little annoyed at the fact that this is happening, so I go ahead and curse myself to happiness take off the RoFL (-10%) and put on my Gazeti wings, which hold 2 Leib Olmai cards (10% each, 20% total).

NOW, I ask him to mag, and not only does it not hit me, but no miss comes up. As you may or may not know, a miss will not occur if an attack actually succeeds in hitting, so I look at my health bar, and sure enough...my HP goes up by about 30-40 points every time he mags (I'm in chase walk at this point, it's not health regeneration).

Let me give you an overview. This is what I THOUGHT I was getting with these gears: Pisces Crown: 30%, Jakk: 30%, Valk Shield: 20%, Fire Pot: 20%, Total=100%Yet my evidence seemingly revealed that I was getting less than 100%. When I put ON the ring of flame lord, I still got hit, which shows I was STILL less than 100% with an additional 10%. Then, I take OFF the ring and put ON the 2 Leib Olmais, and I get HEALED as well as not hit, which shows I had MORE than 100%. So my conclusion on my gears are as follows

Pisces Crown: 15%
Jakk: 30%
Valk Shield: 20%
Fire Pot: 20%
Total so far: 85%
Ring of Flame Lord: 10%
Total now: 95%
Subtract RoFL and add 2 Leib Olmais: 10% (20-10=10)
Final Total: 105%

Please check the script Luzz. Either the coding is wrong, or the description is wrong.

If I recall correctly, and if my old old RO knowledge still applies, resistance does not add up that nicely, in order to prevent what you were trying to do.

The bonuses reduce the damage one after another, instead of adding all reductions together and THEN reducing damage.

In other words, after a 30%(Pisces) reduction, that 70% of damage you take will be reduced by 30%(Jakk). That makes incoming damage 49%. Then, the next bonus applies, and the 49% is reduced by 20%(Valk Shield), making the damage 39.2% of what it was to begin with. Etc., etc., etc., and you're left with a small number, but not zero.

However, this doesn't explain healing, so as far as that bug goes, it beats me. =]

Pisces Crown was changed to 15% awhile back, it seems that the description got changed with the server update. Also anything after 100% elemental immune you start healing from that element. And Elemental Resists do stack as Adam Tried: Pisces + Valk + Jakk + Fire Pot etc...

Healing Ex:
105% Water Immunity, any water based attacks or spells heal you, ex; you getting his by sg will now heal you.

Xanthias that is incorrect. Percentages add fine. It's only stuff such as fire armor that messes things up.
