On Saturday, January 29th from 6pm to 11pm Server Time (aka 5-10pm CST), I will be hosting this event via Ventrilo and my cozy spot in Prontera.

This is the 2nd time I will be hosting this event. Last year's kick off event went over so well, how could I resist coming back this year and doing it all over!? For those of you who were here last year, the games and prizes are basically the same, but this year I've added a few contests and the prizes are even better!

This event will be held inside of Reign Online's Ventrilo channel, as well as right at home, in the streets of Prontera. You will not have to be in Vent to win but many of the contests will be held inside of Vent, so being there will give you a much better chance of winning.

*NOTE* From time to time Luzz changes the password to Reign's Ventrilo so make sure you check the Vent Chicken, which can be found just above the Fountain in central Prontera.

I will provide information on our contests later on in this thread, for now I want to explain how this is going to work.

- Event Information -

Throughout the night I will DJ music on Reign's Vent channel, in the ReignFest section. If you would like to request a song to be played, contact me at least 3 days before the event is being held, either by @mail in-game, or by posting your request here on the forums. You may request as many songs as you like, and I can guarantee at least one of them will be played. I'm sorry I cannot guarantee all of your songs, but I will do my best based on the number of requests I have. Otherwise the basic music will include Classic Rock, Rock, Heavy Metal, Pop, Rap, Hip-Hop, Some Country and whatever else I decide to throw in there.

- How to Win -

Periodically throughout the night I'll hold a contest, as defined below. In total I will hold 10 contests, NOT including the Grand Prize Event. In each of these contests the prize will be 1 Gold Coin, which is yours to keep whether you win the Grand Prize or not.

In order to participate in the Grand Prize Event, you must win one of these 10 contests.

Any participant who wins one of the first 10 contests will NOT BE eligible to participate in any other contests until the final Grand Prize Event. However if you don't participate at all you won't have the chance to win the Grand Prize.

Any participant who becomes eligible to participate in the final Grand Prize Event, and is NOT present for the final event, forfeits their position and are, therefore, DISCLUDED from the Grand Prize Event. This position will NOT be filled by anyone else. It simply improves everyone elses chances of winning.

- Contest Information -

Throughout the night I'll hold contests to determine the 10 finalists for the Grand Prize event. Once the 10 Finalists have been decided, we will almost immediately hold the Grand Prize Event. You MUST win one of these contests to be eligible to participate in the Grand Prize Event. These contests will take place inside of Reign's Ventrilo, as well as on the streets of Prontera. You do not need to be in Vent to win a contest, or the Grand Prize Event, however a majority of these contests will revolve around music that I play on Ventrilo so your chances will be limited if you only participate in-game.

The contests which I will hold are:

Music Trivia: Easy enough. I'll ask a trivia question, which is somehow related to Music and whomever answers the quickest will win.
Prize: 1 GC and Eligibility for the Grand Prize Event.

ReignRO / General RO Trivia: Also fairly straightforward. I'll ask a trivia question about Ragnarok Online in general, or about ReignRO specifically and whomever answers the quickest will win.
Prize: 1 GC and Eligibility for the Grand Prize Event.

**"Guess that Line": In this contest I will play a song on Vent, and it's your job to guess the next line in the song, AFTER I FINISH THE CLIP. I repeat: I will not accept any answers until I finish the clip. DO NOT BLURT OUT ANSWERS. Once I am satisfied that you know the next verse, and you answered first, you win.
Prize: 1 GC and Eligibility for the Grand Prize Event.

**"Remix Redo": In this contest, I will play a remix / cover of the original song. You must give me the Artist/Band, who originally created the song, and the name of the song. The first person to answer correctly, wins.
Prize: 1 GC and Eligilibility for the Grand Prize Event.

**"Redo Remix": In this contest, vica versa of "Remix Redo", I will play the original song, and you will have to name the Artist / Band who covered/remixed it. The first person to answer correctly, wins.

*NOTE*: Some songs may have been covered by more than one band. I will accept any answer that is CORRECT.

Prize: 1 GC and Eligibility for the Grand Prize Event.

Grand Prize Event: No information will be given out about this event until it is about to take place. You must win one of the previous 10 contests to be eligible to participate in the Grand Prize Event. Once the Grand Prize Winner has been decided, I'll hand out the prizes.

**Note: All contests marked with an ** will be held exclusively in Reign's Ventrilo channel, however I will urge everyone to answer me in PM's IN-GAME

- Prizes -

Prizes to be given out are as follows:

4th Place: Mystery Prize ;D
3rd Place: 5 Gold Coins and 50 Bloody Branches
2nd Place: 10 Gold Coins and 150 Bloody Branches
1st Place: 15 Gold Coins and your choice of ONE of two RARE MVPs! (No it won't be RSX or somethin'. It'll be worth it xD)
