Burgers, Yum.
1 1/2 lbs. of 96/4 lean ground beef.
1 lbs. of Maple Sausage (Jimmy Dean works best)
1/2 lbs. of ground up bacon (Or very thin slices work too, torn to shreds)
Just a wee bit of Worcestershire Sauce
A teaspoon or two of Soy Sauce
Half a can of beer (I love using Jaegermeister)
Really easy to prepare, delicious, and very filling.
Step 1: Mix by hand the three different meats until color and texture is consistent.
Step 2: Slowly mix in the different sauces and such slowly while kneeding and further mixing the meat. Do this slowly so that the beer will soak in nicely (It will cook out during cooking, it just adds flavor and tenderness)
Step 3: After this is done, form the patties as best you can into 1/3 lump and flatten to desired thickness
Step 4: Grilled to desired taste, so long as the core reaches 160 degrees.
Step 5: Add your favorite condiments, slap a bun on it, and enjoy. (I prefer butter grilled mushrooms and swiss :O ) _________________ "The World will know that free men stood against a tyrant. I love my mom's Pizza hotdish. It's ground beef, cream of cheese soup, pizza sauce (cheap stuff is fine), egg noodles, (anything else that sounds good in there) and a shit load of mozzarella cheese. Brown the beef, cook the noodles, toss everything but the mozzarella cheese into a baking pan and spread it out. Cover with a whole lot of cheese and bake for an hour @ 350. |
