I JUST WANT TO ADD THAT FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE SUPER LAZY, WEAR AN ANGELING ARMOR + 4 PERMETER CARDS(60% TO REDUCTION TO SHADOW/UNDEAD) FOR MASSIVE LAWLS AGAINST EVERYONE EXCEPT normal atk.
this set up gives you 25% off water, fire, poison, wind, earth, 100% off holy, 60% off undead, 50% off shadow.
now hot key your GR armor switch.
if holy scroll is still around, wear marc armor+ holy scroll as a substitute for angeling.
mage classes are jokes. |

I thought angeling did that :S but last time I tested it there was no difference in damage :S

Bastard.....
Valk Shield also reduces Shadow and Undead by another 20% each (along with Fire and Water). Throw a Cranial (Thara Frog Card) Valk Shield with that combo and get 45% Water and Fire, 25% Earth, Wind, and Poison, [something]% from Shadow (Angeling DOES reduce this a bit, so not exactly 80%, around 60 or 50, I think), and 80% from Undead, 100% from Holy, and 30% from ALL attacks [Wall of Text, skip the geeky stuff if you like :O]
revealing
(though not cumulative with elemental resistances, this counts as a race resistance. This means that being hit by a undead attack with all these gear will NOT net a 110% reduction, which is [80+30]%, but rather a reduction of 80%+30%. Do calculations, 110% and 80%+30% is not the same.)

Add a 5th Permeter, Gierth, or Giant Hornet for more benefits. Undead Scroll helps IMMENSLY, though as stated is scarce. Elemental Pots if you are a good opponent reader (i.e. MANY Snipers like Wind Arrows as a sub-arrow, Some creators resort to Frost Diver / Meteor Storm when AD and Acid Terror fail them, etc.). As the above. add Marse, Hode, Dustiness, or Jakk for MORE. Or get creative? Combat Knife, Holy Valkyrie Helm make it 50% Race resistance.

Warning: As this guy stated, hotkeying a GR is smart, but if you come across an even SMARTER person, they'll use Ghost (Golden Butterfly Wings, Warm Wind Lvl. 5, and Immaterial Arrows, among others). This is the ONLY thing that CANNOT be reduced through the use of resistances (Raydric, so you can't say Neutral can't without GR). In fact, putting on GR makes the damage shoot up like MAD, so it should be obvious if you notice it. Solution? Take off your armor. Replace when you see "normal damage" on you again

since the secrets out, im just gona add some stuff
and if undead is still around, its reduces fire/water/wind/earth by a further 20%
if u add in a pure helm, immune mant, that adds 40% reducer to neutral. means, i most cases u dont even really need to switch gr and holy armour.
and valk shield, reducing fire, water, shadow, undead 20%
so, before scrolls wer removed
this was what i was reducing
holy 100%
fire 65%
water 65%
wind 45%
earth 45%
poison 25%
shadow 80%
undead 80%
neutral 40%
but now, the scrolls r gone, so gone 20% less now to the 4 elements.. stink, i miss scrolls.. lol.
in woe, where people cant see the damage they r doing. its good.
and u can always change the reducers up in your head gear, take out 2 permitters, add a giant hornet, or gierth to amp up resist against wind and earth, or whatever, totaly play around. theres no perfect thingy. i decard quite regularly, depending on who im fighting.
and just cos some1 got high resist, it normally means, they wil be vunerable to statuses,cos all their headgear slots r used up. so give it a shot.

i woulda love if headgear reducer cards disapear completely and aesprika gets applied.
just think inmunities would be harder to get , implying always resist pots.
p.s: i hated this thread almost like i hated the one asking what elements use people on pvp.
no hadgear reducer cards but aesprika.
30% to everything
+valk shield 50% fire water shadow
+angeling. 75% fire water 55% earth and wind, But with penalty over shadow just 25% ?
although there's that pure helm wich reduces 20% neutral and that alone would break all this im saying.
change this change that!!!my favourite line

cards are only a fraction of all this stuff. you have to have skill to. cards only do so much. theres ways around pretty much every card.
