Well, this suggestion is completely based off of Ragnarok DS. But how about instead of just rebirth when your max, how about also allowing what is called Limit Breaking in RDS. A Limit Breaker is when you become a 1/1 novice again. Not a 1/1 High Novice from becoming reborn, but a 1/1 Novice again, so you can play the other classes that you want to try, just in case your unsure of what class you want to play. With this, people who are completely new and are unsure of what to play, they can try out each class and then decide.

I also suggest a completely Custom Class that the GMs and Admin come up with together. Special Never Before-seen Skills, but at the cost of 1: Cannot use Job Changer for it 2: NPC is in a hidden location 3: To prevent from over character creation of that class, no one is allowed to say or show where it is and can only have one character be that class 4: Would fall under Extended Classes, so no rebirth. This suggestion was completely off the top of my head but I still figured "Why not?".

It's mainly for newbies who don't know what job to take. They can try out the jobs they are choosing from, and instead of having to make a new character or recreate that one to try out another job, they can just use the other option instead of going rebirth and try out the other job(s) they wanna try then make their choice. If they still can't figure out what job, they try them out again if they wish or ask for suggestions or just choose one

Considering the number of character slots we have available to us this change is entirely unnecessary =/

Its easy enough to try all the classes with minimal effort vs your idea of putting in a few hours to get to the point where you could rebirth then starting over.

Not to mention that's changing a HUGE part of the game and i dont think our GM's are capable of doing this. Even if they are its not worth the time it would take.

It is not changing a huge part of the game. And the idea is mainly for newbies who are unsure of what to play as their main character. GM Monochrome had told me he disliked my first idea, mainly because of the name. I told him he could change it if it was to be put in. As for my second suggestion, GM Monochrome told me to come up with the information of the custom class and not make it over-powered, and then see what you guys think. I shall post it in this thread when I have some ideas, I would also like everyone to give me opinions on any changes, additions, removals, and such after I post my first rough-draft for the custom class. I would also like it if someone who is skilled with art could draw what they think would be good, and someone who knows how to sprite things, sprite the drawing. I think that it would be very cool to have a 100% unique Custom Class for this server, and I want to try and get everyone's help with this. Mail me any suggestions on things you think would be good for the custom class. I also need help with the name for the custom class, and I will post a poll for the first 5 names mailed to me. When the poll is posted, I will have it opened for one month(28 days). I hope to see plenty of ideas from people who wish to see a custom class.

The first idea may not change a huge part of the game, but it would take a huge(maybe?) amount of time, unnecessary amount of time at that. Why spend a huge amount of time to make a change, when the issue is dealt with personally by the player in another few hours game play.

The second idea. This server has been up a while, a few years, and still no custom classes. I, in my own opinion, think that might mean the gms want to stay away from it. We are told they like to stick as close to iRO as possible, so they may be the reasons.

Lastly, on top of that, we are very close to the new 3rd class sprites being added, so there is your new classes =)

I understand people's disagreement with my first suggestion. My second suggestion, however, GM Monochrome had PMd me to tell me his opinion on my suggestions. He, too, disagreed with my first suggestion, and mostly disagreed with my second one as well. He had told me to put ideas and see if how the server felt about a custom class. And with their attempt to stay as close to iRO as possible, the Gunslinger, Ninja, and Tae Kwon classes are all technicly custom classes, so I do not see how adding one custom class unique to Reign, would be completely going away from iRO. As for the 3rd job sprites, I have seen a lot of them already, so I'm pretty sure they are already out. It is the skills people are waiting for. And the 3rd job classes are technicly custom classes from iRO as well. So, again, one Reign RO Custom Class wouldn't be going off too far from iRO.
