Lets see, I started playing iRO when it was still in the beta days, I actually heard about it from a webcomic. I started up my first characters on Loki and then when they started Sakray I went over and started a character there.

I had made an aco because I wanted to build a battle priest and needed to get to Payon so I could run the caves. But I didn’t have enough money for the Kafra warp, and there were no priests yet to warp me, so I walked from Pront to Payon. I think I ran into and died from Angelring and Ghostring a few times before I made it all the way there.

I also remember the Graveyards before they changed them. I would run around with my Battle Priest and kill all the hunter flies and mimics. The little acos loved me.

I had my Battle Priest made and was using her to kick some butt when they announced the 2-2 classes, I was excited but also slightly upset with the monk class because I felt like they were taking the place of battle priests. Battle priests are kind of funny, they are often built much like a sin, crit priests, agi priests, etc.

I also became part of the all aco class guild on Sakray, Wrath of Heaven. I was invited into it initially, but after a few guild leader changes I ended up being the guild leader. It was fun as we added monks when they came out, and then had a guild meeting where we discussed allowing other healer type classes into the guild. We eventually let Crusaders in as well. All of our guild meetings were held in the Prontera Church. Because we were all priests and monks it made WoE difficult for us, but we did end up helping out guilds who were allies of ours.

My husband was in the Sakray Socialist Party guild (SSP), which was fun. His guild was one of the first ones to capture a guild castle when WoE was first started in iRO. They made a point of making each of their members a God of the Sun helm.

I will have to check my old computer to see if I have any screenies of the old days.

I'm sorry but I actually hated like 75% of it o_o.
I kept making up different email's and accounts just to play iRO.
Not to mention, it took me like a whole day to get from Novice to a
job! D: And I never actually was able to get to the 2nd job. Lol.

The other 25% was being with friends and doing tests for jobs. Although
it takes awhile, it was better than being lazy and having a Job Changer
right in Prontera.

i miss when the map south of pront was the main attraction...EVERYONE was always there...with chat rooms, venders, lots of other craps...i even enjoyed the occasional DB spam in which everyone died because of it...i even miss when payon dun floor one was practicly empty cuz of the hang out area in the top right corner...i miss that from IRO...oh well...with server change comes a change of customs
