Marine, what you seem to fail to realize with my post, was that without monstrous amounts of zeny floating around on the server, it'll be impossible for the greedier players to sell something for ridiculously high amounts. If no one can afford it, the seller must either lower their price, or be stuck with the merchandise. More so, if that player is so desperate for zeny that they're jacking their prices sky high to make a quick buck they'll eventually have to lower their prices if they want to make any kind of profit on their items. I'll use bubba's LK card again in the example (again sorry dood if it bugs ya but I know that there's only a handful around and it's easier to demonstrate), if there were say....100 LK cards, how much do you think it'd have been worth? Not 300 usd, but I garuntee someone would try to sell it for that, but they'd be stuck with that item until eventually they wouldn't be able to get 300 usd. I mean, if someone's offering something for 20 mil, and then another person is offering that exact same item for 5 mil who are you gonna buy it from? There's only 2 ways to fix this economy problem on reign, and one is stopping the rapid increase of our now dead and defunct currency or increasing the amounts of "rare" items to such an extreme that everyone and their brother will have 2 thana's and a sinx card. And marine, you keep saying "go out and stop reading a book" well, I've <B>destroyed</B> a servers economy before like this marine. If you don't believe, go ask someone who played on aeRO's Charmed Server. They can tell you first hand that myself, and 3 other players reduced their rarest items to being worth less than the drops you get from a poring. And ya wanna know how we did it marine? We LOWERED our prices, while INCREASING our stock items. That's all it really takes to break a server's economy, flood the market with a "rare" item, and eventually everyone's prices have to flux to match it. (The item in this incident was the dead branch long before BB's were out, and back then they were worth about 500k on a relatively mid-low rate server.)

Just do a server wipe of zeny. A flood of complaints, yet problem solved. Everyone complains about economy, yet they would complain if their zeny got taken away, which would fix alot of the problem if you ask me.

That's my point marine. I know how an economy in an MMO works, and how to break it, so while you can tell JDUB and the others to stop reading a book, and go out into the world, I can say that I've seen and been part of it first hand when it comes to breaking something like a games economy. Now, as arguing isn't really why I posted in here, I'll just agree with Glenn that zeny wipe would most likely fix the problem at it's current state.

| i hope you bring back the zeny drop for mobs. Since it would be a big help for new players to earn zeny since they are still starting from nothing. So that the new players could be given the chance to be competitive like the old players since they can also afford the items that the old players have, |

its been revived so i post again , yea put zeny drop again i mean inflation dint droped at all removing zeny , as fact i see undead and holy scrolls selling each for 500k a piece , just think 5mins of farming = 50m some pple getin things too easy.
im still hitin the scrolls things but the mvp room cards still worth the same as before , gears = ; mostly all remained same price as before , mob zeny has nothing to do with the "inflation" the pple has to do wid it.
