i say that if a thread is dead that it be locked to prevent anyone from "accidently reviving it" when they are searching the 5 pages of suggestions so they don't resuggest anything...it will only be a slight hassle for the GMs but at least it will save people from being embarrased or feel hated if someone says to stop but says it in a seemingly annoyed way...im putting up a poll...im not sure why anyone would, but you nenver know if someone would disagree with this

Sometimes dead threads need reviving. Maybe a suggestion was supposed to implemented, but then the gms forget about it due to other pressures. There are occasions when dead threads should be revived 
Maybe just lock threads that are obviously bad?

Threads can have four things happen to them:
1) The topic is a success and a verdict is reached. The thread ends and fades into history.
2) The topic is a failure and a verdict is reached. The thread ends and fades into history.
3) The topic is left up in the air, no one reaches a decision, and the thread fades into history.
4) The topic is judged as being entirely finished or requested to be closed and is closed.
We should not need to lock the topics of the past to prevent them from being posted in. You, as a player, should know this.
As a rule of thumb: If a thread exists about a topic, but it has not been posted in in over 3 months, leave it be. If there is an urgent matter in the dead thread, you may post in it.
Also: We have a "Search" feature on the forum so that you don't have to manually look through all previous threads. It is clearly placed between the Game Account and Memberlist links above.

it's not THAT much work...maybe atm cuz of the 5 pages but after all that's done it wouldn't be too much work...but good point none-the-less
