We have a scheduled maintenance scheduled for this coming Sunday, January 17th at 10:00pm (23:00) server time.

This scheduled downtime will be a little bit longer than our usual 5 minute maintenance window in the past. We need to fix a sync issue with our backup database servers.

The anticipated downtime is about 20 minutes.

In addition to us repairing this backend issue, the following changes will take effect:

1. New Donation Girl items will be introduced upon server restart. We have received some requests for sword armor sprites, however, we are not able to locate any. If anyone knows of any that is available for us to use, feel free to let me know via PM. Otherwise, this update will not include such sprites.

We will reset Donation Girl trade-in timers for all players during this maintenance window as well.

2. We are making some changes to the War of Emperium system and schedule. Please pay close attention to the new schedule of open castles:

Monday: 5:00am - 7:00am
Guild Bases: Arunafeltz Guild (Rachel), Britoniah Guild (Geffen)

Wednesday: 9:00pm - 11:00pm
Guild Bases: Valkyrie Realm Guild (Prontera), Schwaltzvalt Guild (Yuno)

Saturday: 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Guild Bases: Luina Guild (Al De Baran), Greenwood Lake Guild (Payon)

Please note the modified WoE time for Wednesday!!

As you might notice: each WoE is 8 hours from the other WoE times. This schedule allows players from ALL over the world to participate in at least one or two WoEs per week.

This modified WoE schedule and castle limit is a TRIAL. We will run this trial for TWO weeks. After the two week trial, we will ask players for their input. Based on the input we receive, we may modify the schedule again or completely revert back to WoE as it is currently

Also to note: If these changes are accepted, the open castles for each WoE time will likely change every month on the 1st of the month. The current castle selection was chosen completely at random! (players might have seen me /dice-ing in Prontera).

These WoE changes are to encourage more competitive action, smarter use of antagonists and alliances, and increased importance of strategy and diplomacy.

Again: This is a TRIAL for two weeks. Please voice your opinion after the two week trial instead of forming judgment prematurely.

UPDATE: Postponed 1 day to Sunday Jan 17th 11PM server time

The update is postponed one day to finalize all new Donation Girl items and to make final changes to their item scripts.

(Plus, I need to create a new Full and Small Installer and retest database sync.)

Sorry for the delay, but it is necessary.

Updates and maintenance has been completed. All players MUST patch! If you cannot patch for any reason, please download and install our Small Installer version 2.03 from the Downloads page. The Small Installer is up-to-date with the latest patch.

New Donation Girl items are out. Trade-in timers are reset. Some previous items are now 'retired' to make space for the new items.

First new WoE is TODAY (Monday) at 5am - 7am. Note that there is a FOUR minute random variance for WoE end times! This means that all WoE sessions can end somewhere between 2 minutes before and after the hour!

New questable items are scheduled for release next week. We have about 10 of them.

We are aware there are a few minor issues with the new items. We will work to correct them in the coming few days. I will post updates to this thread.

Also, players with 'retired' Donation Girl items may trade them in by sending us a @request.
