I also like my nintendo, but i would like opinions votes on xbox 360/ps3 as they are commonly compared most xD

unless you dont have internet,if so ps3
360=better online play,more popular games
PS3=more epic games,more interative |

This is how I view it. =) I only look at the good points of each.
They both have significant bad points, but I overlook them.
PS3:
Free online play.
Backwards compatibility.
Blu-Ray.
Reliable HDD.
Xbox360:
Large online community.
Huge selection of games.
Better (included) Netflix program.
Awesome controllers.
While I only own two PS3 games, I do have a significant collection of PS1 and PS2 games which makes the system (as a whole) worth it to own. I was lucky enough to act fast and get my hands on a PS3 that had fully functional backwards compatibility. My Xbox360 is primarily used for Call of Duty, Mirror's Edge, and Dragon Age. (...and Netflix!)
Neither of the two are superior to eachother, in my mind. ...Though I still think the Dreamcast is better than both. (I'm a die-hard SEGA fan, what can I say?)

I'd say that Xbox and the PS3 are just as backwards compatible.
I can play PS1 games on my brother's PS3. But I can do that on my PSP, too.
I can play Xbox games on my Xbox 360. But also a few older games. N64 games, and PC.
I can only play some Xbox games on my 360, though, and only some PS2 games on the PS3...
Neither can play Battle Toads, so why I bother is an enigma.

Which PS3 do you have? My PS3 can play any and every PS2 and PS1 game I own.

Yeah, Ps2 can play all Ps1's games.

My brother got the expensive new PS3 for Christmas. The one with the super memory unit. I don't know the specifics.
Can't play Godhand. Can't play Dynasty Warriors.
Can't play Battle Hunter. Can't play Tobal #1.
Can't play Alundra. Can't play Bomberman Party.
Maybe you have too many main-stream/Greatest Hits PS1 and 2 games.
