I was just on my Stalker, and I noticed that Preserve no longer goes away.
Like, no matter what. Unless you log off, it won't go away. The picture on the side stays, and the skill stays in effect.
I'm not linked, and I didn't test it with Dispel, but it stays until you log out.
No pictures, but you can try it yourself.

I have tried. This is true.
Dispell still works, thank goodness.

it does go off after a while, and can be dispelled. you just can't unlock it which is nice if you slip up hitting keys.
