I put this here as its not a suggestion. Its an idea and i want to see what people think about it. I am not in anyway suggesting this.

How do all you guys think pvp would go if?

1. Berserk in pvp was altered in someway? Removal would be overkill, maybe if it only replenished your hp or times it by 2, not 3 (as it is currently at). Cause atm, lk are pretty equal with other classes, until they berserk and peow peow, bam, your deadems, in alot of situations. All assuming you are equally geared.

2. Backslide altered to have a skill delay in pvp? Backslide spammage is U_U. Combination of /bingbing and backslide is like, O.O.

3. Body relocate altered to have a skill delay in pvp? Like isnt it banned in woe already?

I had one other one but i just forgot it :S

If you guys could all comment on each number separately, cause i would like to think what you all think of each point.

this might sound mean but..........deal with it Razz . pvp is player vs player, not player vs player with limited skills or altered skills. Its all about strategy i mean you can go in a hack and slash...or...you could fight from a distance. let me put it to you this way. When i had my thanatos i figured i was gonna own in pvp. i put it on a +10 pike along with 2 hydras and 1 turtle gen. Im level 255 LK 2 megs on im a beast. And i still got killed in there. especially going berserk. cause ya berserk is awesome and gives you triple hp and your attack goes up..but the downside is it drops your defense to literally ZERO so you can get killed a lot easier. one asura strike and BAM. so sorry i dont like your ideas to twist peoples skills around just so you prob don't die as much. cause lets face it...your only posting this cause you have had probs with people using those skills on you Razz

to the 3 a big no! .. You know i agree a lot with u when u trow good sugest but this is not one of em .
for the relocation one lemme just say tht is not blocked in woe on other servers be thankfull here it is .
off topic : this couldnt be another of ur sugestion to get more advantage on ur own chars isit ? gg . i say it again i say NOOOOOO!!!!!
if backslide and relocation get anoyed in pvp a smaller room should be more than enough . zerk with x 3 hp is oficial behavior , way to counter it and the more eficent is called patiente lks in zerk dies by emselves .

nothing personal dan just this wasnt one of ur brilliants one .

How about just making a smaller pvp room, like the size of the MVP room that spawns Bapho? Back slide and snap wouldn't be that much of a problem. Zerk LK's are pretty easy to deal with, all they can do is charge after you nothing more.

Would the other one happen to be EDP? I love how sinx's think they have skill on this server when they use EDP, back slide, hide, and grim, I think its funny as hell Very Happy

and i did read his whole post. and despite him saying its an IDEA and im not SUGGESTING it is a bit ironic because he "is" suggesting it in the post. hes just bringing it up in a very subtle way to see if people hop aboard. and i gave my reasons why i didn't like that idea cause if were altering peoples abilities here then next we have to give in to EVERYONE that has a slight problem with a certain ability and then its no fun. I understand everyone is amazingly opinionated and i give him probs for not cramming it down our throats.

He's discussing it. There's a distinct difference between a discussion and a suggestion.

Example:
A priest and a man are discussing the Catholic religion. This situation is different than one where a priest is asking a man if he would take on the Catholic religion.

In other words, this is a thread to shape and mold ideas and separate good ones from bad ones. Should anyone here feel that a good idea has been found, then a thread can be made in the Suggestions forum with that idea.

Regardless. Arguing about whether or not it's a suggestion isn't beneficial to this thread either. It is what he said it is and will be treated as such. I may have something to contribute, but i'm interested in hearing the opinions' of others first.

Thanks skye. No, i am not suggesting. I just wanted to gauge players opinions on the matters.

And to someone who said body relocate wasnt banned in woe... It was back in the day i am pretty sure. Maybe they brought it back when they made reign? I dunno :S

Tht one would be me , i said "it isnt banned on the other servers be thankfull here it is during woe" . But this is not to argu at all , back in the rainro days i dint played. When i joined body relocation wasnt available here during woe so i asked why and got told becus champs used to snap to emp and do E-Call ,
Now if u ask me e-call have a cast time obligatory ,tht champ could be killed before even call the guild and there was the matter before emp had 100k hp .
Just dont kill champ on pvp too taking away its skill or adding delay , then lordknights and pallys shouldnt be able to use peco during sieges or pvp chemist with e avoid .

if someone will quote me sayin about the peco or etc , nerfing gota be fighted with more nerfing .

I remember now. The reason relocate was banned was because apparently champ could get to the emp the fastest, by a long shot. With all the walk speed increases, you could get to the emp more then twice as quick as anyone else.

Good ole' JDUB got that one banned Smile

IMO, removal was overkill. An ever so slight after skill delay would have been nice IMO. Then the only people entitled to spam would have been those crazy crazies with kiels :S

this is clearly again one idea to overpower ur jobs making weaker apareantly the 3 jobs tht are giving u more work to fight in pvp .
