Hi. This event should be really easy script (guess only) for all GM to write it.

How to play - One treasure (cheast box) will spawn around the prontera map (town). This box will randomly contains 10,000 zeny - 1,000,000m zeny (depend on GM) and people just need to find this box until they found it and hit the box to get the reward. Cooldown for this event is 1 hour.

Every time the treasure spawn, server will make announcement to tell where this box has spawn. Example "a treasure has spawn at the north of the map". - just like that.

After player hit the box, server will make announcement again and will tell the player name. Example "Congratulation, Abcd just got 50,000 zeny from cheast box". Next cheast will spawn in 1 hour.

Just this my idea to make this server more fun and alot of event Very Happy .

Reign Online is the only one server i play since few years ago..idk how other server manage their event and wht type of event their have.

Your English is fine, easily understandable. Smile I like this idea, except maybe the prize should be juuuuust a bit higher, since I don't think anyone's gonna like do it regularly if there's a chance to get only 50k or so. :O

I think this is a very good idea. I do think a few tweaks should be made, however. For example, certainly I agree with Ren, the zeny should be at least 500k, otherwise no one would really play.

And for the record, your English is ten times better than half the people I talk to every day. And they're Americans <_<

make the prize a random amount within a certain range, with percentages . disallow those who camp to prevent lolfarming (which is why we can't have nice things, remember when the lottery would pay out?). Skill use should also be disabled during the event periods to prevent the usual telesnooping. i would also forget about "this is where the chest is" messages. it should take no more than 3 minutes for a group to scan the whole of a town.

500k seems a bit high maybe, since this is a suggestion for a randomized hourly event. Not sure though, just my opinion on that. XD

yeah, cycore bring up the points...the cheast should be immune to all skills. About the reward, i leave it to GM because i really dun mind about it. Zeny is just my opinion because i think zeny would be easy for reward.

i'm not saying the chest itself needs to be skill immune, i meant that people who go into these events with teleport tend to be the ones who find them. same way with people who do race events have to deal with peco/emergency escape/etc users. it puts those who aren't at that level at that much of a disadvantage. the inherent imbalance in class ability should not affect "for fun" event ability. events based on chance tend to be much more exciting than ability based ones. this is why tarot, stop the clock, and moo cow are popular, because anyone has a chance of winning. others like poo dog and maze of death still weigh on "who can get there fastest", which can be slanted by my previously mentioned observations.
