Hello everyone.

We have been running the @main defaulting to on for a week now. Now that everyone has a taste of it, and aware of it, we are asking the community to vote whether they wish to have @main default to on, or revert back to off.

From an administration viewpoint, I believe @main is used too often for spamming and chats that should be in guild chat, party chat, or done via Private Messages.

I'd say yes if @main was a different color, instead of making me think someone on my screen is talking, though i think people would probably like it better if it was kept toggable, instead of it keep resetting to either on or off.

Okay, back when I was told about main chat by Zombie, I thought what a neat game function, now I can talk to multiple people at once without having a million pm chat boxes flooding my screen.

I do agree, that there has been alot of spaming over the main chat sense it has been up, which I try to remind others not to do over the chat, and think that even if it wasn't around, that people would end up spamming anyhow... Some people just spam. D:

I can see that some people don't like it which it's easy to turn off. But I like the idea of being able to talk to someone who's my friend and not in my guild, or party, and it keeps my screen clear of pm windows.

I think it's a good quick way to get out to the entire RO community but this does get a little spamy. So I guess it's a fifty fifty toss up, not everyone is going to like it, or use it. My vote is to Keep it !

o_O @main uhhh advisor? or uhh rule setter? :'o idk, someone who is on most of the time to watch people. o-o GM's are busy, clearly, at least a person who watches over(dosn't have to be gm) make a poll? everyone who wants to go for advisor? =.= *dosn't remember how to say that* xD but you get my point.

I think we should leave it, but ONLY if it gets changed to another color not already used. This is the ONLY reason I don't like it.
