I've shown people about @main today and every one of them has been pretty excited about it.
It seems to me that the reason people don't use @main is because they don't know about it.

Maybe with @main being on by default, and a little note in the MOTD or a thread on the forums.. People would get into it!

Hopefully you guys will take this into consideration!
(If not, anyone who reads this thread and doesn't know about @main.. Type @main on and then to talk in @main chat type @main <message>

Main chat is sort of like a guild chat or party chat, but only between people with @main activated!

Zombie told me about it today, like She's said, and I absolutly love it! Like I'm addicted to talking it in, and it makes it easier to talk to all your friends through it, and make new ones and hold conversations with more than one person without having to be right next to them, or in some chat box, or pm/guild/ chat. SO it's really cool, and I would like it to be a default, so that everyone can enjoy it, and if you dont like it, you can always use @main off, and no more talking chat filling your screen! XD

It's an awsome idea!

This @main is AWSOME!!! its like a whole new world.... and i thought ppl just sitting in prontera were AFK.... its all LIES!! <_<;... Wish i would of known about this sooner!!! OMG @main has solved like so many of my pm problems, i saw something like this on a different server a while back and it was very helpful, becuase you can talk to anyone who has it on. it makes it much easier to talk to multiple people at once, instead of constantly scrolling through names in your pm box, if i knew about this earlier. i agree with the idea of making @main being turned on at login, would be very useful.

@main on/off (Turns main chat on or off)
@main <message> (Sends a message to main chat)

You can put Main as the person you are whispering to in place of using @main


That's all there is to it.

I use(d?) @main along with my other sets, like @autoloot ##
Alt + 0, 9, 8, and 7. The custom set. >:0

But auto-@main is a coolio idea. It should remind you how to use it when you first log in.

I personally dislike auto-defaulting @main to on, and the reason is because spamming is a lot more damaging with it on by default. A single players can simply spam every single player who didnt turn it off (and if it's on by default, that would mean nearly every player).

If everyone keeps this into consideration, and still wish this to be implemented, then it will be.
