Hello. A few players have been hit by this bug:

Although storage and gstorage has a limit of 800 items, depending on the type of items you have in your storage, you might not be able to access your storage/gstorage if you have more than 730 items.

(Items that are named or have multiple cards contribute most to the problem.)

I have research this bug. The solution is to decrease maximum storage and gstorage from 800 items to 730 items. Unfortunately, there is no other way to fix this issue.

So, what does this mean for you?

- If you have over 730 items in your storage or gstorage, it would be a good idea to remove/sell/drop/give away/store somewhere else some items so that you do not have over 730 items. Otherwise, you risk not being able to access your storage/gstorage.

- If you have close to 730 items in your storage or gstorage, do not put in more items and go over the 730 item limit. Doing so MAY render your storage or gstorage inaccessible.

I will restart the server next Friday night, December 9th, at 11PM (2300) with the lower storage and gstorage limit. If you have more than 730 items in your storage(s) at that time, you MAY lose some of your items.


If your character or your guild have hit this bug, and your storage/gstorage is not accessible, please respond to this thread with your character name and/or guild name.



Technical explanation of the bug for the technically inclined and curious:
The game client only accepts packets up to a certain size (20480 bytes). All storage item data is sent to the client in a single packet. An item that is more 'detailed' with a signed name or card information takes up more bytes than items without these data. If storage data is greater than the size limit, the game client discards the packet, resulting in a broken or empty storage.

Current storage sort is default storage sort. I have not been able to rewrite my custom sort with the new storage code.

Server configuration updated, and server rebooted.

Gstorage has been lowered from 800 to 730.
Player storage has been raised from 600 to 730.

Wait, you said the error may come from named items, right? If so, what about the 800 different skulls in my gstorage? :O Or is it a bug that happens to a small handful of players?
