I recently joined Reign Online and am having a blast in every aspect of the game. That is, except mvp'ing. There are two main problems that occur on almost any mvp.
1. Upon reducing their health to approximately 20%, they activate something which gives them massive amounts of flee. Is there a way to counter this? I currently have 309 hit on my sage (Main character) and still only land a hit maybe 1/15 attempts.
2. Many mvp's such as Baphomet and Orc Lord use the skill "Earthquake". I have never seen this before, and have no clue how it works. I have 73 Def and 87 Mdef, but still take 300,000 (x3) damage. Does this skill bypass all defenses? And if so, how can the damage be reduced? I have placed a card into my garment that reduced damage from earth property attacks, but it doesn't seem to affect the outcome. |

Firstly, arimak is correct, if you are missing, it simply means you need to add more Dex (for hit), Luk (for crit), or cards that add either of those (I would suggest a phreeoni, as that usually does the trick).
Second of all, Earthquake, despite its misleading name, is Neutral element. The best course of action to reduce Earthquake is GR, Proxy+Deviling or Aseprika or Proxy+Raydric, Pure Valkyrie Helmet, and an Alice-carded shield (if you're not using Ahura). Wearing GTB will also completely nullify the damage (it is a magic attack that works off of physical attack power, similar to how Magic Crasher is a physical attack based off of magic attack power). Though since you said you were new, I would guys you have none of these items. I believe it does ignore your magic defense, but I have no hard proof of this.
Just keep at it, and good luck! _________________ SUPRISE BUTTSEX. PREPARE!

For Earthquake, use a shield with an Alice Card on it. I've always used this and it brings down the EQ damage very low. Raydric helps too. And Ygg Berries. _________________ Reneshin ~ 255 Knight Lord

not necessarily. earth quakes damage is reduced based on the amount of people it hits. Keep in mind most MVPS are supposed to be a group effort to take down |
