As you all know, the US government isn't exactly the most friendly thing. What with the Patriot Act, yada yada yada and their need to want to privatize our lives so they know everything that we do (My personal opinion. Flame all you want).
http://demandprogress.org/blacklist/coica
If you take a look there (it's a quick read, I promise) and see what a few of our Senators are doing, most of you should be outraged.
Take in mind, this only affects people living WITHIN the United States, but, ultimately affects everyone.
All I'm asking you guys to do is, take part in the news, read what people are saying, and be informed.
Spread the word, tell your friends, tell your family, relatives, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.
If stuff does get censored, it will be the death of the internet. Honestly. It won't stop after just one thing being blocked.
Thank you for reading. :3
EDIT:
It is at your discretion if you want to sign the petition. I am not forcing you to do anything. If you wish to read this and be informed, good for you. :3
Understand that all I'm asking is for you to read the article. You may sign the petition if you want. |

If the internet gets censored, then I'm up shit creek.
I should probably read the article first though...
Edit:
Here's the skinny for those who don't want to click the link.
A bill was put into motion that will put copyright infringement laws into action for the internet. For example: Youtube will likely be unaccessable from the US. Aswell as many other things. I imagine that private MMORPG's will be effected. If not now, eventually if this bill gets passed.
And I just can't function like that, you know? So, don't sign it for Emma's dumb face. Sign it for me, because you like the miracles I do. |

Signed.
I miss the days when "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country" struck a patriotic sense in everyone. Now it's "Fight your country because its government figures don't like your free will."

That went clean out the window when it became common knowledge for politicians and big time CEO's that power and wealth can easily be acquired with a few lies and a little treachery and greed.
Politicians, like diapers, need to be changed periodically...often times for the same reason. _________________ "The World will know that free men stood against a tyrant. That few, stood against many, and before this battle was over, that even a God-King can bleed." -Leonidas to Xerxes |
