First and foremost, I BELIEVE there is a slight bug with the Ahura, similar to the Elemental Sword (the original script on RMS says Skill "HW_MAGICPOWER", 10;). The space in ", 10; should not be there I think, I fixed it in my quote above. Also, I think there's another bug with the GM_SANDMAN skill, due to the slashes and asterisks, but I do not know this for sure.
This is the official Angra and Ahura, at least according to RMS. I'm not asking for the items to be "changed" more than asking for them to be "updated". I don't know if Luzz decided to keep them "as is", or if he simply overlooked these new scripts, but I just thought I would bring them to everyone's attention at the very least.
And of course, none of this would really do anything to players, since both of these are banned in PvP and WoE. Perhaps the only abuse I can think of is using Amplify before entering a castle on other characters (Oh yay, a double damage bolt. Oh yay, 1 stronger LSoI. Negligible), or better healing outside a castle (Or you can just use a ygg berry). Other than that, it should not really affect people who do not hunt/level.

The Ahura also had a slot, at one time.
I think Luzz kept it like this to better suit the server's rates.
But that's not from the horse's mouth, and just what I believe. Take it as you will: In the butt.

Yeah but now not even the "official" Ahura has a slot, so it could have just been because it's an official change.
Anyway, I'm only suggesting this because I believe this is the official behavior and that it should be updated.

Back to the topic at hand, although these two items would be "official" if updated, I really see no reason for this, seeing as Angra/Ahura make MVP hunting and the farming of mundane items absurdly simple enough as is. If anything, I foresee tons of threads in the future of people complaining about trivial things (Should this update be implemented)...like the Amplify Magic thing Adam brought up, solely for the sake of something to gripe about and accuse others of being broken/cheating.
