This question concerns homunculuses. I'm just trying to find out why is it worth it to evolve one? I mean, sure you get a new skill, but doesn't it kind of suck? To cause huge damage and then go back to a low intimacy really is kind of dumb. I mean, I don't know the details or anything, but I guess what I'm trying to get around at is; are there any stat bonuses? And if so, approximately how much? I wouldn't want to consume massive amounts of time evolving it for nothing.
Take into account that I do know this was a choice I made and acted out of free will, so I'm not trying to argue against why they have such a darned high required amount of intimacy before evolving. Rather, what would I get out of leveling and evolving it besides pride and satisfaction? (which is really all I need. xD).

Evolution grants a New Skill, Stat Boosts, and a New Appearance. All three vary, based on the homunculus you possess.
