Ban general chat in pvp. Guild chat, party chat, and whispering allowed only.

Alot of drama hopefully will be reduced this way.

It's a good idea. CERTAINLY will reduce drama. Don't know how this will work though, but if it can, go for it.

Why the no votes? If you want to talk to a friend, party him, whisper him, or chances are your in his guild.

Only thing I see general chat causing is problems, such as people stirring shit up.

Then you can /ex someone when they pm you. The only place they can abuse you is outside, which is a very big place.

I was thinking another way, how about /ex actually blocks general chat as well? I think that would be most effective, since when me and my friends test builds we run deep into PvP then talk there.

first off grandpa your siggy made me laugh. and second. banning chat wouldnt stop drama. DRAMA will happen regardless. and yes i know you can do /ex and stuff but not being able to communicate with guildmates unless you were in party chat or whatever would be..annoying

talking out loud should be allowed. if you fk up and say stupid shit you deserve to be reported..nuff said.

Most drama is pvp orientated.

Removing the chat option eliminates the chance of fights occuring. Let's face it, your not going to sit outside pvp for hours to wait for someone to exit so you can abuse them. By then they would have cooled off anyway.

i see banning chat in pvp as an encroachment of our player rights. whats next. banned talking in pront, then just all together.

point is pvp is fighting. its not a social room. so peoples tempers flair. words get said ect ect....

15. Punished? More like a talking to.

These changes will relieve the stress of the gms having to deal with douchbags who play up all the time. Why make rules when no one follows them, when you can eliminate them at the cost of slightly bugging some players.

I really don't see what the big deal is about banning chat in pvp. (Shocking that I'm actually posting in something other than the chatterbox.) It's not that hard to ignore a line of text on a screen and it's not that hard to just @ex or /ex someone but it's been awhile sense I've played. (Yes I am back because I'm constantly on a computer cause of the classes I'm taking in college.)

I say, if it were to be banned, maybe just ban it in No Mercy. But Shadow is right, Will power people, mentality is everything, ignore people, you can ban speech in the real world, not in america at least.
