since ive updated to windows 7 i have an odd thing happen when i log in sometimes. I log in and cant move. like i can move as in spin. or even warp and use @ commands. but if i push esc i cant click log out or anything. i have to Alt+F4 to get out. then if i log in it usually works. not always but about 80% of the time. when im stuck every things going on around me too like real time i just cant click and move. its odd

is there some bs with win 7 i need to know or something. this never happen when i had xp. so idk.

No one is quite sure what causes this issue, but all you have to do is press Alt-Tab to switch to a different window, and then simply Alt-Tab back to your Reign Online window. After you do that, you'll be able to move normally.

My friends had these problems, even in other games. Apparently Windows 7 isn't the best gaming format, and it can lag you a lot. I'm pretty sure Glen also had huge amounts of lag even if he had 8 GB RAM, which is the max you can get I'm pretty sure. Try to get XP back if possible, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to play well again. :O

it does this very rarely, but then again, in all my years of playing i have never seen this issue. i'm wondering if it's a bug that was introduced accidentally. or if windows is becoming problematic in realtime situations.
this occurs even under XP so i'm not exactly sure if you can call it a win7 fault just yet.

I'm not sure then, because I have about 6 friends, two of which play RO, and lag only on Windows 7, and the others are lagging on low quality games as well, but when the reformat it back to their old XP it works perfectly fine again, I'm not an expert at these, sorry.

i never and i mean ever had it happen with xp. and then win 7 is just..*poops* ya i went there lol.

And I have problems with gaming on windows 7 both on my pc and my laptop.

I've never had any issues with xp.

Solution:

if you're in window mode, which is more favorable. click outside of the Reign online screen then click back, this should make you able to move again. I am using Windows 7 and have found the same issue everytime and have grown on it so i did not report, but that's what i do and it works. just click anywhere outside the window and when you click back in, it will let you move and progress normally.

I, too, have experienced this in the earlier days of Windows 7. I haven't experienced this issue in probably at least 3-4 months.

Make sure you are running Windows Update regularly. I have a hunch that one of the updates might have fixed this compatibility issue.
