Vista won't let programs save in the program files folders because it needs permission from the user. This causes a few issues I've seen, and figured out how to get around~

Problems with patches:
Two ways around this,
1. Anytime you need to patch, right click and select run as administrator. It'll let the patcher save the patches in the program files folder like it's supposed to.
2. Install Reign online into C:\users\(computer username)\AppData\Local\Virtual Store\Program Files\Reign Online. The patches happen to go there because of permissions.

Can't find screenshots:
Two ways around this as well,
1. Everytime you run the game, right click the icon, and select run as administrator, and it should let the game save in program files like normal.
2. The screenshots are usually saved in C:\users\(computer username)\AppData\Local\Virtual Store\Program Files\Reign Online\Screenshots. If you're unable to see any of these folders, go into Folder options, and under the View tab, select to show hidden files and folders.

I can't login to the game!!
It keeps saying "no patch available"
I've installed twice, for God's sake....
What do I do???
I did click the 'run as admin' but still no good

I had a strange experience with my friends Vista.
He couldn't get the game to run, even though everything was updated.
I told him to run it as admin, and he did. It didn't work.

I, then, went over to see what I could do.
I ran it as admin. That is all I did. It worked.

I don't know what to say, but try again.
(It was RO I was setting up)

What error message does the client give you after you press "Play" from the patcher screen? The patcher screen shows the "No Patch Available", the screen after that will be the login screen... or where your error should show up.

You get an error the same as if you hadn't ran it from admin.

if i try to login, it will say "failed to connect to server"
and doesn't matter if i ran it as admin or not.
it turned up the same...

You may be having network problems if you're receiving a "Failed to Connect to Server" error.

You may use several of the methods in the following thread, under "Your Connection", to reduce the chance of receiving that error. Otherwise, just try to connect several times and it should connect after a few tries.

even though i got "no patches available"?
oh..so i guess it's my network problem then...
i am using wireless after all...
which means the chance that i can play is low3...

Hey guys i need help my computer downloads it but it will open to the screen where it says play and i click play and it wont work i have try ed from administrator but still now work can you help?
