This got me thinking a bit, what if WoE went like BoC events?
You cant use XXXXX cards(Mods choose), no donates, ETC, it might spark a few new guilds, new class builds, and rather then people saying

and it would also make alot of classes usable again, like mages/profs.
I know I know, mages/profs are usable now, but by that same sentence, thats like saying there is a card that cuts your Pdamage you deal in half, yet you take no Pdamage whatsoever, and LK's will still be viable, a physical version of GTB if you will.
Please think open minded about this, this is just a rough idea, and its meant to shake things up a bit, if people dont like it I understand but I thought why not share it.
I will also null out my vote, I mainly want to know what you all think.
Also, this could be a entirely different WoE setting, so we can keep the one we have now for all the "after I spent XXXXX hours of my life for a GTB how dare you, you criminal scum" people.
Im not trying to change everything, but I think a metagame shift with a crazy twist would be neato

Keep woe and have a boc woe. So have them separate.

I don't like it.
For one thing, we work hard and pay out the ass to acquire these cards and donates and just because some people don't have them doesn't mean we shouldn't be allowed to use them. Also there are many options for non-donaters to attain these things. (Camp MVPs or make Zeny to buy GCs).
Donates and MVP cards are not only available to those of us who can afford to donate. It's just easier for us.
Secondly, The BoC is in place so we can show off our non-donate non-mvp card skills. WoE is all-out. The only restrictions in place are meant to keep it from being a onesided WoE. (IE: Charge Attack, Endure, Back Slide, Angra/Ahura/Aesprika). Every class has it's own use in WoE whether or not they have good cards or not. I know plenty of good non-donate HW and LKs btw.
Yes, not having these things puts you at a disadvantage, but that's all the more reason to hunt, camp, and farm so you can get them for yourself.
Also I don't think having 2 different WoE's is feasible. It doubles the amount of Essences on the market, as well as adds a whole butt load of coding. A strong guild could dominate regular WoE and BoC WoE simply by having more people than another guild.

Having a BoC WoE in addition to a normal WoE could be interesting. I'll toy with some codes to see if it's possible; then i'll whine to Skye and Luzz to see if they can do better.
LET'S TALK ABOUT THIS AND SEE IF WE CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN.

I'd say, We should make one day per 2 weeks what we ALL play with BoC rules. Like a restrictions during one day in pvp rooms. I think a complete woe in BoC mode would make some people just leave. But one day with boc rules in every pvp rooms would be fun c:.
We should try ;D

We have woe, what, like 3 days a week? Having one of those woes set to boc rules would be good, it would force people to "widen out" so to speak, with the way they play their characters. Assuming they still want their castles.
Im up for some change. Half the reason im not on much anymore is because everything is the same.

Also: Godfather's coding sucks. Don't trust him. =P I believe a BoC PvP room is extremely doable, in good news. No word yet on a BoC WoE.
Overall, you all seem to like the idea. I do see the cons, though, and those need to be addressed. Cons such as castle essences.
...Custom castle essences in BoC WoE for custom items?

we barely have enough people woeing NOW on the server. and its not cause of lack of cards or anything. its cause some people just dont want to. Ive seen plenty of guilds woeing without god cards and they can still bring a challenge to anyone. I dont care if you got all the rares, if you get teamed up by 7 or 8 guys chances are your gonna get slammed lol.
also cause people have lives outside of RO and may have ps3, xbox, or pc cames to play too.
just cause you have a guild doesnt mean you have to battle everyone lol.
so in my opinion a boc woe would just useless and just take up gm's time.
