Reign has a strict no AFK policy. Homunculi however seem to fall in a gray area as they need to be fed.
Is it considered AFK training/farming if your simply trying to train the homunc?
I can understand things like staying away from the hydra pits and such but where does this sit as far as the rules are concerned. I know it was brought up once, but i dont remember if a conclusion was ever reached.

As in your saying is it against the rules to be afk and have your homun killing other things - Yes That would be AFK Training
If your saying is it against the rules to be afk and come in every now and then and feed him - No That would not be

from my experience with this sort of thing, its alright to still be there watch your homuc train (so basically semi afk). as long as you answer any people that ask if your AFK in a reasonable time frame (like 5 minutes), it should be fine. But that's how i was used to seeing it, it may e slightly a little different here.

| hm..then is it mean to be okay to killing things with your homunculus while you're on it...feeding him...and always replying to others chat? even though its on hydra spot and stuff? |

as long as you can prove your actually on and AFK, i think people wont have a problem

I asked Luzz about the Hydra spots. Anywhere with huge amounts of Hydras, Homonc killing is not allowed, AFK or not. |

I dont see why that would against the rules, your homun is gettin exp out of it, so that would be concidered training it

| There are signs against it, and Luzz has said not to. There were problems with people doing it in the past and it is now against the rules to use a Hom in areas with mass Hydra spawns. |

That is correct. AFK-training is 100% against the rules.
Homunculus training is (mostly) okay, as long as you are not AFK, and as long as it is not in the hydra pits. This was due to players who farmed way too many cards in those areas, and claimed they were not AFK (which is always hard to disprove). As such, any hydra spawn area that has a sign stating no homunculus farming rule will be enforced.
I do want to say - if you are homunculus training, you MUST respond and react to any and all players who respond to you. A GM will not wait for a response. Any lack of response will be AFK training/farming by definition, even if it is for a minute.
