Hello all, I just came from a different server and was surprised at the old client this one has. I will post below some pictures of my old server (with its new client).



The multiple skill tabs you see can all be used at the same time by assigning hot keys.



With Type mode on you can only use the F# keys.




But with battle mode you cant type but can use any of your hot keys.

I know this is alot of work but it would pay off in the long run drawing in new people. I for one find it hard to adjust to this old client and will be returning to my old server until changes are made.
As an added thought, Kisuka (the owner of RRO) would probably be able to help you get your hands on the new client.

I find the multiple hot keys and how it shows the duration time of skills interesting.
Type Mode and Battle Mode seem a little complicated though.

We already have type and battle mode. Once you get used to it, it makes life easier. I do like those tabs though.

muliti skills used at the same time? does that mean you can use multiple skills by like assigning them to say F7 or something. if so. wow that would be insane

just as an FYI, i do believe you CAN type while in battle mode, you just have o hit enter first.

as well, for those who dont kow, /battlemode enables the use of the three rows of letters on your keyboard for use instead of the F# keys, though as far as i know of, priests are the only class that NEED it.

I think the multiple skill tabs are nice. All the classes should use battle mode for armor, head gears, element switch. I am sure they don't have all 4 tabs activated normally. It's probably there for easier skill mapping for /bm.

Just memorize your tabs. Thenn there is no difference at all when your bm'ing.

In the new client you can switch in between battle mode and chat mode by pressing enter. in battle mode you can set any key as a hot-key for skills(only one skill per hot-key though)
