If it's possible, I'd agree with this suggestion.
For sometimes, I do have an average connection and I've reached up to
300 kb/sec. But then it all depends on Seeds and stuff.
(I don't entirely understand torrents).
But yeah, I'd go with this. _________________ I am Keita. :O

uTorrent is simply one out of many .torrent file clients. I, personally, use BitTorrent. It is down to each individual person which torrent program they would like to use.
As for the .torrent file itself for Reign Online: It is possible to go forth and do this, however there is a significantly large concern that I have regarding torrents. Torrent files, in order to be fast, must have multiple seeders giving out the file at a time. A single seeder dispersing data to a single leecher will be slower than the direct download that we have hosted on our server for download. If we do have multiple seeders, it will be possible for the file to go faster. However: This requires for multiple players or administrators to all have an up-to-date file at all times and leave their computers on at all times in order to provide seeds for the .torrent file.
In my opinion, a small-scale torrent wastes resources especially when we have part of the web server dedicated to offering direct downloads. If enough players see the need, it may be considered. I leave the final say to Luzz.
On a final note: A torrent file will only download as fast as your internet connection allows. A dial-up user will not be able to exceed 56Kb/sec. Some cable internet users have their download speed capped at 3Mb/sec. However: 90% of the time, internet downloading is set higher than uploading. In other words, users may be capped even at 1Mb/sec uploading speed. It's entirely dependent on your internet service provider. _________________

I'm sitting in awe that this dude whined about the download and his connection, wants a personal torrent... and doesn't know about Download Managers.
When I had skirty dial up connection for a while out of "The Worst Apartment Ever" I used a DL manager that saved partial files until the entire file was downloaded.
This dude is funny, a bit skirty, yes, but really man, if you can't download the game, it's because you have no want to try. Where there is a will, there is always a way... or a structurally weak wall to bash through...
Also, my 2 cents on this?
Torrents are of the Phail. Hardcore Fail in fact. They suck up bandwidth, don't do anything you can't do with a mirrored archive, AND open up both the seeders and the downloaders to potential viruses of all sorts. My idea of a giant pile of suck all the way around.
The only reason to torrent is if you have illegal files you don't want to/can't host on a regular archive.
And yanno, the party van awaits people caught torrenting that stuff.
Okay, On a re-evaluation, torrents for super large, super popular files might be worthwhile, but usually even then I avoid them. I prefer to rent my videos than torrent them, even if it was a legit legal torrent. (IE Blizzard Updater)
Much as I love Reign, we aren't 50+ downloaders a day popular.
And if we ever are I may have to start worrying, I don't think we're built to handle 5k plus players at a time. Or are we? _________________ My past is just that, My past.
