Alright I'm not one to make waves but isn't this a tad bit offensive to those of us with a religion? Here y'all are bashing away on Christianity when all we're guilty of is believing in something you don't.

I don't want anyone to get in trouble but I was kinda upset by this thread~

Its not just bashing Christianity. If you notice theres a couple of Muslim Images as well. And then you have the one picture with the two towers that says "Imagine a world with no religion". The towers were depicted in referance to the radical Muslims that brought it down.

All of these have a valid point to them if you look past the joke. If a person is any type of intelectual you would not feel offense to any of those but rather look and laugh if you will, or respect the belief and opinion.

This the perfect chance for me to depict my opinion about something i decided for myself long ago.

Leave this guy alone for starters. I dont think that this is as much of a joke as it might be this guys personal belief or religion, whichever you wish to call it. Or this couldve been a joke.

But based off the comments i read. I am appalled really. Some were in good humor, some in support and a few negative. And a small flame which i assume out of rob and the other is put out =P.

Now heres my words on this and it might make some people feel better or just myself, but please listen.

Some believe in god. Some believe in Science. My theory is why cant there be both. No matter what you do in science. Nothing JUST happen. Something created science. Something created the one thing in the beginning. No matter which way anyone, puts it. Water, matter, solid liquid and gas did not originate from nothing. Thus it would make science not make sense. Whos to say a "god" created said process for science to depict, or that science mightve created said "god". No one can. But we all have to remember it had to start somewhere. But heres what makes humanity different. Why does a fruit fly live for a day and we live for years? Whats the meaning of his life? Does it matter? Is it meaning or did it just happen over the course of time. Was there ever not time? Questions like this will plague humanity forever. That is just it. Thats what separates a fruit fly, and a human. The fruit fly doesn't wonder why its here. Why? Because it doesnt have time to. Because maybe it doesnt understand in a complex manor that such a thing exists beyond its tiny one day life span to accomplish what instinct tells it to. Atheism, Christianity, Muslims, Jews, Whatever you want to name or call them or there religion/belief. It all stems to the same thing. Shit thats doesnt make sense AT SOME POINT. Even science traced all the way back cant find the answers. But whats the difference between and atheist and a Christian. Not a damn thing. Christians look to god and bible for answers. Most atheists look to science and reason for an answer. You wanna know the people who i think really know where its at?

IT doesnt matter what the hell you are. If you dont give a damn about the answers, whos right, whos wrong. Converting, worshiping, HOW MUCH TIME WOULD YOU HAVE?

Now dont get me wrong, i believe in the higher power. But never do i sit there and say its wrong for anyone to believe anything. Anyone to worship anything, anyone to do anything. We take control of our own lives, what we do is our own. And if i wanna believe that god is a pikachu fused with a poring. No atheist, no Christian, no nobody is going to tell me different.

Why cause? Cause i dont care what they think

Thats my take on this. Instead of caring about these sorta things lets just say were all people and it is what it is.

And as for my response to the picture, i agree with certain things.

And in fact my personal opinion about most religions can be quoted by ichigo Kurosaki from bleach

doesnt matter whos right. if your def and mine are both right then 20+ people believing chocolate is super tasty is a religion then. hell some might even worship a chocolate god.

and dude you cant believe in both? why. cause science is the quest for facts and truth, religion is based on an old fairy tale we have no proof actually happen. can you believe some people think the earth is only 6000 years old, please. People will hopefully look back on religion and go.wtf were we thinking, our primitive ancestors were so blind.
your correct though, we all have our beliefs. im agnostic i believe in my own thing too.

my question for christans are, you say the big bang is wrong cause NOTHING couldnt just not exist without a creator, well i pass the ball back to you. what created god, he couldnt of already existed, and if he was created what created him, so forth and so forth. the universe is a mysterious and beautiful place, we havent even tapped it yet.

Me personally, I believe in a creator. If anyone has ever "properly" read into the bible, you would see a number of prophecies that have come true, as well as some other good points.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though, I don't think offence should really be taken from this. By having a belief you should accept others have their own as well.
