I spend a lot of time answering questions about guilds in-game, so I thought I would put up a simple guide on guilds.
Creating a Guild
/guild "Guild Name" - use quotes
Hitting an Emperium
You need to have the guild skill Approval before you can attack emperiums
Guild Emblems
Guild emblems should be 24 x 24 pixels, bitmap format (.bmp) and 8 bit color (256 colors total). Place this in the Emblem folder of your Reign Online folder. Use FF00FF (pink, in RGB) for transparency. If you cannot make your own, you can download premade guild emblems from the Internet. Try a filefront search.
To use your emblem, place it inside your emblem folder (likely to be C:\Program Files\ReignOnline\emblem). In-game, press Alt-G to access your guild screen. Press Edit, and select your new emblem.
Guild Tax
A lot of players ask 'Why am I not gaining EXP after killing monsters?' Check your guild tax. In every single case, the guild master taxed them too much. A guild tax is the EXP deduction from you to your guild after each mob kill.
Leaving a Guild
Press Alt-G to enter the guild screen, click on Guildsmen Info, locate your name, right-click, and select 'Leave'
Changing Guild Masters
use @changegm. The person you are transferring guild master ownership too must be in your guild, and logged in.
Cannot gain any more Guild experience
Killing mobs with a guild tax, and your guild experience isn't increasing? Chances are, you're the guild master, and have reached the limit on how much experience you can give the guild. (If you start at guild level 1, you'll likely hit guild level 26 before you experience this limit). All you have to do is @changegm to another guild member. Have both players log out, then log back in. The new guild master then @changegm back to you.
Does Tribal Solidarity really work?
Yes, but it only gives a small amount of guild experience.
How do you disband a guild?
You can only disband a guild if you are the guild leader. Press Alt-G to expel all your guild members. Then, with the Alt-G window open, use command /breakguild "Guild Name" (use quotes).
Hope this helps.
I'll continue to add to this list as questions arise. _________________ Support Reign Online by voting! |
