Here is my idea, i suggest reign should implement a programable crash test dummy NPC. The NPC summons a dummy in which you can program to have the class/stats/skills you want it to be to test moves or just plain practice. You can also have the option of giving unlimited hp for testing of other things or practicing. You will also be able to see the dummies SP and HP bar(The one that you summoned). And you can summon more than one at a time. _________________

We would have to create custom "Dummy" monsters. One for every single "type" that players would want (ie: One for 100 HP, one for 1,000 HP, one for 1,000,000 HP, one for 999,999,999 HP, etc.). In addition we would have to program in every single possible combination of skills for a dummy. (ie: If you wanted 10 possible skills to add, we would have to make 100 dummies to match any configuration). I, personally, would make them look like Porings or Rice Cakes.
Showing the HP / SP bar for just one "Dummy" is not possible, though.
If enough players show interest in this, we might consider it. But first we'd need more specifics (especially on what kind of dummies, as coding 100+ would take a considerable amount of work). _________________

Well, i think its ok if it shows the health and sp bar of all of them as long as you can see it. I don't really care what they look like, and i meant by status and skills only the amount of skill points and status points a regular player has. Class decidable so you can test it on different classes. If you need me to specify a little more just tell me what ya need specified. And i was thinking a player could summon like 4-5 dummies at a time. One player though, not all. _________________

I was thinking to just open up a status window that the player can completely customize, as well as selecting the job and skills and HP. _________________

Honestly, I like this idea o_o.
Some people might not want to practice with other people because:
They don't want to reveal their secret
No one wants to practice with him/her
Or no ones just ever on.
I like it. _________________ I am Keita. :O

then how about this. since most people probably wanna test on a demi human subject. just make it a demi human dummy with as max hp as you can get. the dummy doesnt need to fight back so skills wouldnt be needed.
i like the idea though =O _________________ cadian!~ |

A single, spawnable, Demi-Human enemy with an extremely large amount of HP would be extremely pssoble.
A fully customizeable system where you can choose exactly what to spawn is nigh impossible to code, create, and implement. There's too much that can go wrong and too many complications to consider. (Unless rainkid knows some long-lost gem of knowledge that I don't). =o _________________

Ok, how about one player can only spawn one dummy at a time, and they can number its defense, magical defnese and HP (Ranges from 1-999,999,999). And the dummy is demihuman and they can choose its attribute (Armor). What about that? _________________

Being from the old days of RO, where you had to ask friends to help test a build on them. Or the people who just randomly do it and expect you not to fight back when they don't ask. I for one like this idea quiet a lot, gives freedom to accurately test how cards effect and stack on each other, what would be the best combo's and so forth. _________________ Im here I'm semi bad, and I don't give a hell about much. yea but how. most ppl have different defence and and stuff like that. i personally havent vited yet, u need to Give me more insight on how it wont be the same as attacking a normal person. every1 different, one may have high def , 1 may have low deef. i reckon just stick to practising on friedns guildies or Cycore. It lets u know wat ur build is good agasint and not.
GOod idea thou now comment mine =D _________________ RETIRED

Well looking at it from all sides, yes it would be the best to practice on friend's and guildies. But what if they set it to let's say the average sinx build, or pally build, you get the highs and the lows of def. Or the high miss ratio that sins have. Since I notice the usual sinx build being high dex, high str, mid int, mid to low luck and some vit. Just make an average AI like a clone of your self but you can set it to be a pally instead with a sac build, and such. No need to program skills or the fighting. This way you can test your build against the norm of all the builds out there. This wouldn't include the stats added from cards and such so you can really see and calculate the possibility of what cards they would have and change your build accordingly to that set of cards and combo. In further thinking it would be better but this would help the newbie who knows so little about pvp help them be better so more fair fights. _________________ Im here I'm semi bad, and I don't give a hell about much.
