I'm against it. I don't use any buffs at all when I do, except for my own. And I don't even have my own on most classes.
But to be honest, all I think this is is being made because someone dies too much from someone who is priest buffed or soul linked, etc and tried to make the suggestion fair but they are doing it for selfish reasons.
Pvp is taken too seriously on this server. It's only a game it should only be for fun.
If you die, you die. If you kill someone, you kill someone.
Just come back to the room and continue.
If you really want pvp to be fair only allow level 1 novices with no equips or buffs into the pvp room. |

Ragnarok Online customized to allow a maximum base level of 255 and to support the rates of 100 base/job is not meant to be anything but PvP. You get to the max level much faster than you think.
Yes, it is a game. Life is just a game you play until you die. You want to have fun before you get to the end.
A fair PvP arena is an arena where all classes start off equal in enhancements.
You're allowed to prepare as well as you can for equipment, because there is no equipment that will let you kill 6 people in a row, with the use 1 skill 6 times, that each have more than 120k health.
Yeah, in a way all novice PvP is the most equal of them all. But every class has a bane. It's up to you to choose what you're good with and weak against. That is equality: Everyone can choose to search for items inside of the game.
However;
Not everyone can run a multi-client program.
From that point, it is no longer equal.
There are only 4 people left on the server; An Assassin, a Priest, a Soul Linker, and a second Assassin of higher talent and better equipment than the first. One Assassin also controls the Soul Linker and the Priest.
The other Assassin can not multi-client. For a reason outside of the game's power, this second Assassin can no longer defeat the other one. Ever.
Alot of people severely underestimate the power of this kind of abuse.
One of these players worked hard to get as good as they are. The other one cheated. _________________ ಡ u ಡ

FCP is already removed upon entering any of the PvP rooms.
What does everyone think about making the social room debuff upon entry? _________________ Support Reign Online by voting! |

If you don't know my thoughts on this situation, then it is a miracle you've kept the server going this long. o__o _________________ ಡ u ಡ

Whether or not you remove buffs on entrance from pvp there will still be people, like mentioned before, that will have the buffers hidden around the pvp room.
This won't fix any problem, just make it take a bit longer for them to buff. |

itll just mean the buffers are prone to attacks but seeing how the map is quite big there are many spots to hide, giving a possiblilty of survival. Seeing how some people dont like to pursue, unless its in plain view.
though this suggestion just means no buffs outside, there isnt a difference whether its inside. either way there are many many ways to get pass this.
im still against this <<""

Good point.
I push to make dual clienting illegal.\
/sarcasm
If you can sneak your guys in to hide them, they can still follow you. A decent tracker could, anyway. And that just leaves one or the other open. You can be on both and stay in total control the entire time, you know. If they start to /nc you, you just(finish them off or hide first) change your target.
Sneaking your multiclient'd pansy-buffer in is okay with me, because it leaves the target with too many things to look after. And that's when you get them.
OH, SHIT! GREAT IDEA.
A tracking item. You use it like a taming item, but on a player. Then, you can see where they are on your radar. You can work out the bugs and flaws and stuff later. _________________ ಡ u ಡ
