Sadly Marine, I am not one of these people who have used zeny to buy GC's, and we're not trying to make zeny disappear, just the inflation on the prices of things. Needing GC's to buy items is not how the game should work, because it stops being a game for everyone and starts to become a playground for the rich. I'm not sure about you, or anyone else on this server, but personally I don't have 300 dollars in extra money just lying around in my wallet every month to spend on an online game. So by saying that you want the zeny from killing monsters to stay, and have gc's as a form of currency, you're basically saying that you want this server to become a place where you need upwards of actual money or massive amounts of time spent on farming zeny to just get something that used to be a relatively fair priced item. And aye aye JDUB, I'll post my suggestion of adding an NPC to safe refine an item +1 into the suggestion board. |
how can i be suposin tht.. when im sayin i buy gcs with zeny . sadly if u want to get everything without effort there u , because i heard tht . If u dint used zeny to get gc tht mean u actually not puttin efort besides on trying to buy rares card for 100 m zeny . If u cant afford gc not even doing zeny u are a SLACKER.

Wait wait guys... the idea is that the server provide EXTRA services/goods that players WANT for their zeny. The intention behind my idea is not to steal your zeny, but to help the GM/Admins develop new features that players will enjoy and be willing to pay for. At the same time, the new features should decrease the total amount of zeny in the system.
When i left the former rainRO, now ReignRO in May 2009, the total zeny count was at around 78 billion with a growth rate of roughly 1.5 billion a week. That was back when the server had 200+ player online at all time. Now assuming steady growth rate, the amount of zeny in the server should approach 100 to 110 billion. Much of those zeny are not in circulation, but the fact is that there is too much zeny per player count. |

i will assume you mean LIMITED gm powers >.>
in which case what wpuld be the use? /nokill? @kill? there wouldn't be much of a point of GM powers in a PvP room >.>
and if you had all skills, you could max your stats, or warp from there to any map >.>
i dont wanna burst your bubble, or sound mean or anything, but i think thats the worst idea in the whole thread >.>

it's probably too hard to create a gm char class for everyone who enters that room. blah
but the idea is in the direction of new and fun feature/services that people are willing to pay some/a lots of zeny for. |
