I've already given Luzz a suggestion for an automated, daily event. Unfortunately my coding knowledge is fail so it's all up to him currently. I'll put some more thought into other automated event ideas.
From talking about my previously mentioned idea with Luzz it seems he doesn't want automated events to be too regular as he doesn't want people getting bored with them. When we last discussed how frequently the event should occur, I believe he settled on a random time every 24 hours and even that was likely too frequent for him.

oh I tell you, people will not get bored if the events go for like even 6 hours and their target prize would be amounting to 100s of the coins they can get from it... and or prizes could go higher than that... frequency of the event x amount of prizes = no boredom ^_^ balanced, that's what it may be...
