To me, this makes solo'ing other players a bit easier. Instead of taking 5 seconds to swap gears, it would only take a split second.

If this worked, it would make this server even more unique xD

you can do what you guys did when we put a gear on the hotkeys and we have more then 1 type of that gear...i'll use mine as an example...i have a few composite bows...i have 1 equiped and 2 in inventory...i'll use the name Keita for the example(as i promised Gonfrcees i would)

Keita's Bow Equiped is +10 Double Flammable Composite Bow
his Bow on Hotkeys is his +3 Kingbird Composite Bow of Infinity
Keita Uses Hotkey with bow
Keita's now Bow Equiped is the +3 Kingbird Composite Bow of Infinity
Keita's new Bow on Hotkeys is a Composite Bow

or something like that...would prevent from a super quit change in gear...please tell me if i made no sense with this and i will try and describe it better

Err that didn't make any sense to me. I still like my idea though, the possibility of taking on a group is there, but if your crap, you still are crap and still die to them.

For example, just the other day i was easily killing another bomber and a sniper. But when they spawned in together I just couldn't hotkey quick enough.

If this was implemented, I now stand a chance if I am good enough. Switching between complete neutral resist gears and elemental resist gears is just far too timely to be able to take a group on.

ok lets say you have three of the exact same brand item...(i.e. composite bow) and you have a +1 a +2 and a regular...if you put the comp bow on a hotkey and have the regulare one equiped and then use the hotkey with the +1, then the +2 will appear in the hotkey...use the hot key again and it equips your +2 and puts the regular on the hotkey

i agree with skye opinion bout this could be a bit too much imagine , if it makes gameplay easy for someone amateur, for yourself "dan" this could be even hawter than cuba.

It's already like that wolf.

It gets to confusing cause if you have to many armours on one hotkey it gets hard scrolling through alllllll those armours to get the one you want.

Marine, this will only work if you are a good player. Amateurs will be just that, still an amateur.
