There are cheaper and much more effective ways of doing this. And it doesnt make you immune to ice spear or cold bolt, it just stops freeze 
On top of that you don't lose MDEF by using other methods.
Not a bad price on card though, just find it not a good card

I would only get detale if i was collecting cards. Other people might have their reasons though.
Its like choosing a ring of muscle over a meg in my opinion, lol.
