dont get me wrong. I'm sure their worth it. I know thanatos is. but selling that card for 250-300 United states dollars????? seriously. wow. And im not ruling out the fact that hes not a common mvp. You actually have to summon him. And yes his card makes you pretty much a bamf(or so i hear). And Kiel, i can understand being even rarer. Theres a lot of steps involved to do the quest. but ive fought him twice now with bloody branches. its just the rarity of him that makes it an expensive cards(sorry if i dont share the love of the skill the card actually does).
Cards like gloom. sigh. people sell for 60 usd. thats the equivalent to 4, 15 dollar trades, and in zenny terms its 750million zenny to convert to 15 credits. so ya. you do the math. ok ill do it for you. 750mil X 4= 3 billion zenny. its just....wow. im baffled about how people are making REAL money on cards in a GAME that help out your character. but ehh.. i guess to each his own.
You know im doing everything i can to help drive some prices down. When i get an mvp card i always whosells it and then drop the price. like turtle gen being sold for 150mill. POPPYCOCK, or baphomet being sold for 90-120mill. ASSCRACKERS. I've sold turtle gen at 70mil, and baphomet at 40-50mil. LOD, 70-80mil. And lastly Gemini-S58 is usually being sold for 80+mil, i sell for 40. Hell just yesterday I saw an abysmal knight being sold for 60mil, i checked again an hour later...it was jacked up to 99mil. WTF.

I agree with cad that card prices are too high but I also side with those who choose to donate hundreds upon hundreds of their pay checks or their parents money on a bunch of cards that make you stronger in a game.

just talked to a guy selling Rand for 80 gc's. shesh. ya i guess your right shadow. if they are using their hard earned money or even their parents money then so be it. like i said to each his own. i just find it ridiculously overpriced.

then we need to do something about it. hell yesterday i saw 2 different people selling cards ranging from thanatos to LOD for gc's and cash. they were off to the sides of pront kinda out of view of luzz.

I dont know about you but id much rather have the satisfaction of killing thana or one of the mvps for the drop than shelf over nearly 300 buckaroo's for it.

Ok i did the Kiel quest today, not that hard. And i literally ended up fighting him a grand total of 5 times today. 3 from bloody branches, 2 from inside the lab, and of course his actual fight in the quest..which i didn't. granted i didnt get a card but its not like hes a once a month thing. on a side note: Luzz told me today that before endless tower was here there was on average an Ifrit card drop every 11 months: . shesh. see thats rare.
If i get a kiel or thana card you can rest assure i wont be selling it for 250 dollars. If i get a thana im using it for my own devious ways mwahahha. And if i get a spare ill sell it.
