Fake companies.

I got this idea from a server I recently played on.

They had things like SHA and GNG and other three letter fake organizations.
Their rates would change randomly, between 0 and 10 every 12 hours.

Let's say...
I invest in SHA. It's current value is 112z.
I have 6,000z.
I can buy about 500 shares of SHA.
I wait 12 hours. The stocks change. SHA is now only worth 105z.
I hold onto my money until that changes, or sell low and bail on SHA.

In short...
If you don't have anything serious to contribute to a serious thread regarding implementing something to better the playing experience of the users of the server, try not doing anything counter productive.

Instead of some random fake company coming out on top why not have the market based on guilds battling in the guild war? You won't have to program data and it'd be totally fair. If a guild's doing bad then they're worth less on the market, if they're in first then they're worth the most. you can only buy and sell before and after the wars are over though.

I dislike the stock market. Actually I hate EVERYTHING about it. >_>

I don't understand it half the time, I don't like the idea of wasting money on a gamble, and it's PLAIN BORING.

However, I voted yes because there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with adding this idea, as long as you don't HAVE to play >.>;;
